Hi;
Any UK members had this problem?
We did the tour & liked what we saw, made the phone call, signed the documents, got the T-shirt (well, fancy bag anyway), and now the process is held up because FedEx won't accept the package to send back to Florida because the 'from' address is not a UK address, and also they haven't put a zip code in the 'to' address. I emailed member services yesterday (can't phone during their hours due to work commitments) but so far no response.
So near yet so far:sad2:

Hi, jim'n'jan. We signed up whilst we were out there, so didn't have a package to send back. I'm a bit confused. Do they provide you with a pre-printed envelope? Surely the "from" address should be yours (in which case it would be in the UK)? And the zip code should be easy enough to establish. What's the address?
I've no doubt I'm completely missing something, but I'm sure there will be others along soon who will have gone through this process and will be able to help.

Hi Debbie;
We took the SSR tour on our last day at Port Orleans, so they gave us 3 days to get back to them after we got back home to keep the $500 incentive. This we did, and they FedEx'd the paperwork to us along with a return FedEx envelope and a wad of pre-printed shipping documents. It's these that FedEx don't like for the above reasons.

I'm puzzled by this. I have returned documents to DVC 3 times (4 if you count the time FedEx lost my envelope) using the enclosed prepaid FedEx envelope without any trouble. :confused3 I'd call Member Services and ask DVC to send you another...

Hi
I agree with the above, we sent documents back in a pre paid Fed Ex envelope and had no problems, give member services a call and explain.

I can't remember what the addresses on the envelope were exactly, but I also sent it with no problems.

Hi Jim n Jan
We had exactly the same problem as you BUT our FedEx driver had handled DVC/Disney packages before and was aware of the wrong "From" address on the return label.
He simply brought a blank label with him, filled it out with all the relevant DVC details (a/c no etc) and entered our address in the "From" box. No probs.

We sent our paperwork back with Fedex using the prepaid envelope provided and we had no problems - hope you get it sorted :)

Thanks to all for your replies. I contacted Member Services and it sounds like I just encountered an overzealous employee. I will schedule a pickup early next week and see how it goes.
