As you may remember, Mia (DD1) had a little Minnie Mouse doll wearing High School Musical red outfit with pompoms. Sadly she left it somewhere and we lost it. Thought it was in Cafe Mickey and called them the day after we got back but nothing... :sad1:

Would someone be happy to buy one for me, I'll pay for Minnie and the postage and even a percent if you wish straight away - I just want to have the little doll!!!

Feel free to say no, I won't get upset.

Thanks in advance :flower3:

We are going in 3 weeks and could get one for you if needed.
When we were in the shop at POTC my daughter lost her Tinkerbell doll. I went back in and asked a miserable-looking CM if it had been handed in. He tried saying if it was a product sold in the store it would have been just put on the shelf but I said all the tags were off and it looked used (ie my daughter had dropped it a few times!). We looked around the store, him very half-heartedly it seemed. Then he just disappeared through a door without saying anything. I waited long enough to realise he wasn't coming back, and then thought I'd wait a little longer to see if he came out. Eventually he came back out and completely ignored me. It was obvious he'd deliberately gone in there to get rid of me. I'm usually a polite and placid person but this got me SO mad! He was behind the counter again now with his manager, so I went and asked as politely as I could if he was still helping me. He said he couldn't help me. I asked why he had walked off without saying anything and why he had ignored me. He muttered something. I was shocked he could be so rude and said so. I said (rather loudly by this point) that he had a lot to learn about customer service. he said I had a lot to learn about treating him. I waited for his manager to intervene. Nothing. So I took him name and said I would lodge a complaint about him. In the end I never did because the experience soured my whole afternoon and I didn't want to be hanging on to that kind of resentment while I was at Disney with my family. But now I wish I had complained because his attitude was terrible. All he needed to have done was look round the store, see if it had been handed in and if not just say I'm sorry it seems someone has taken it, which is no doubt what happened. Instead he behaved in a terrible rude manner.
Anyway sorry to have hijacked your thread (!) I just meant to say I understand why you need to get another doll since we had to immediately buy another Tinkerbell doll!

sorry that he was so rude to you and it spoilt your holiday!. but i had kind of the same experience once, when we took our nan to disney.

the cm on peter pan's flight was so unhelpful. because of the fact that my nan was in a wheelchair, he refused all 9 of us to go on the ride.

okay, i can understand the fact that maybe it would be difficult to get her on, but there was nothing stopping him from saying something like 1 of you can watch nanm, and the rest of you can ride, then take turns.

i got the manager down, who sent us out with a scowl.

never riding again

That is shocking!! When we were there a couple of weeks ago we saw several people in wheelchairs being assisted onto rides with their families.... And being allowed to take turns and so forth....

I'm really shocked at that story. How horrible.

No problem, wait until I get back for the cash.

Do you remember what shop or are they all over?

Can you remember roughly how much it was?

I don't want to bring you one that is too expensive or too cheap.

They sell them everywhere but we found it in one of the bigger stores. It cost I think 16.90 euros (only know because I was checking the receipts).

But please don't worry and don't look around for it, great if you find it but don't spend too much time looking for it...

Thanks again!

taking in the fact that there was at least 5 of us that wanted to ride, and the fact it was going to be my sister's high light of the day, i am also shocked.

how rude can people be.

honestly...disney is meant to be a happy place

Hi

Coming home tomorrow.

We have looked all over and can only find one at 11.90 euros.

If this is the right one we will bring it but cannot find one at 16 ish.

Will happily buy it tomorrow but wanted to check if it is the right one.
