We haven't got our music for the summer yet, but we've given our teacher a long list of things we'd like to play, and he's going to see what he can do.

Our Spring music was,

yay! i inspired a thread!:D

we're playing Beauty and the Beast, and a song called King Across the Waters which is AWESOME because in the first section the woodwinds get to play percussion parts on buckets! Unfortunately it's gonna seriously suck because that's the one the student teacher is directing, and nobody can follow what the heck she's doing. We haven't gotten our third song yet, but i think our director said it's called Prairie Dances or something. We'll probably get it tomorrow.

Suzi- A West Side Story medley sounds fun! I love the music from that!

i think we played Prarie Dance in middle school...or maybe im thinking of something else!

well we are playing-
Dance Movements...which is seriously about one of the hardest songs ever composed! which is why all the other directors think ours has lost his mind...just wait until they hear us at contest and we blow them away! its our main song
Florintier March-its our march..i like it! it sounds like disney music! :D
Bell Piece-dont like it at all...its very weird but its short and my friend gets to sing in it...shes sings really really pretty
West Side Story-our band did a marching show to that 2 years ago b4 i was in my band(b/c i was sitll in middle school)so i wont be able to play west side story stuff! :(

Im gonna see if some of the music is on morpheus or something so yall could hear it...everyone else should do the same...i would love to hear what they sound like!

Our band music this time is Ritmico - A song with a HUGE TRUMPET PART. We trumpets are cool. We are also playing a version of Ode to Joy. It's ok I guess
