We currently have AP's (but are still pretty new at this) & a trip booked for October - If some sort of discount comes out can we apply that to our exsisting reservation or do we have to cancel & rebook? Also, what if the discount only applies to some of our dates, do we get those dates discounted & pay rack rates for the other days? Thanks so much you guys have saved me TONS of cash which makes DH VERY happy.

Last August we booked in May and then waited for the codes when they posted we were able to apply them to our rates. As far as if they don't cover your entire stay I'm not sure, we were lucky and it covered the whole visit. Good luck :goodvibes

I just looked at my May AP ressie where last night isn't under rate.

$109.00 Night 8
$84.00 night 2,3
$74.00 night 1,4.5,6.7
This is pretax and 3 adults at a value resort. It looks as if we pay rack for that night.

Thanks so much - I guess I'll just have to wait & see - Do you know if i have to cancel & rebook my exsisting ressie or will they apply the discount to my exsisting ressie?:confused3

The should be able to just apply it, I may be wrong but I don't remember that we had to cancell and rebook.

I had AP rates last year booked for AKL in October for $185/night standard, and then a general public code came out for $145/night standard. I called, and she just had to cancel my AP ressie and re-book the new code immediately, no problem. If the dates hadn't been for our whole trip, we would have been able to just keep the AP rate for the nights it needed to be kept.
Have a great trip!

As long as you remain at same resort they can just modify ressie. I had to change resorts once there for my conf number changed but all other times it has stayed the same.
