I am running my first full marathon next weekend (4 May) and I would like to join a team to keep me motivated to continue. I have signed up for RFTT and the WDW 1/2, but I feel that after the marathon I may slack off. I'm very quiet, but I am known to be a good team mate. Any takers?

EPCOTDUDE--Are you running the NJ marathon next weekend???

I see you are from NJ, and I think I saw on the WISH race calender that you were. I am running Long Branch Half that day, I was actually signed up for the NJ Marathon, but had to switch to the half after a knee injury cut back my training significantly.

Hi Bob! That is great....it is a really nice race! One of the reasons I really liked it is that it is VERY flat! On a couple of little tiny hills, nothing too much....and part of the course runs right along the beach!! Just hope for no wind....last year, there was perfect weather!!!

I live right outside of Philadelphia PA. I chose the NJM for the same reasons. I heard it was flat and a fun and well organized race. I have been training in the wind, since my job takes me to the shore most of the time. The hills are very rough on my knees so I hope the stories of flat terrain are true. I hope your knee heals fast.
