Holly, I am back on 226, so a little better but not much.

Docs report, DCL is sending mine seperate from John and Amy, and in 4 cruises I have never actually recieved them at my home address, UPS doesn't like leaving the slip so I never know they have come by. I generally have them delivered to work.

On our tracking there was two packages and I didn't even think that the second one was also DCL, until this morning when it read "Shipped To: TORONTO, ON, CA" WHAT!

Canucks our packages will be travelling UPS saver class. I called and UPS can't redirect until after the first delivery attempt, the call rep almost hung up on me, until I told her about the notices never being left. Now I have to keep track on-line and call after the first delivery attempt today, my package is at the main Central Canada Depot, MISSISSAUGA.

Bruce, I was on the US site. I only put in the ressie# as a reference, that is how I saw both packages this morning. Last night when it first showed up I used John1's zip and only saw the Ohio package.

Yeah the depot is in Miss, and I am the furthurest east you can go in Toronto and not be out of Toronto. 1.5 hours each way if there is any traffic at all. I am not going to pick it up no way no how.

it happens way more than most people think. we have several gators that are living in the intercoastal that come up on land and are usually found in people's pool areas. luckily they make it back without having to be destroyed.

it happens way more than most people think. we have several gators that are living in the intercoastal that come up on land and are usually found in people's pool areas. luckily they make it back without having to be destroyed.

When I use to live in Fort Myers, Fl. There was a gator that was always in a drainage ditch near our house. The bad thing about it was during rainy season I was always worried that the gator would make his way to our house. The dry drainage ditch was behind my house. When we live there many years ago the new subdivison where we live was farm land. It's been years since we went and it has really grown up I'm sure. We went there 10 years after we left, the trees and shrubs had grown. All the lots were full. We didn't reconize the place. Wish we had of bought a condo way back then. :sad2: This was when the boom had just started there.

We have asked the captain before about this. They will load everything in Port Canaveral, and if they need to bring in anything else they will fly it in from the United States and load it on one of our stops. We were also concerned last year about them having to refuel the ship 1/2 way across the Atlantic and Captain Henry told us that would not be necessary as they have more than enough fuel to "go the distance"! I can't imagine they would need to put anything on in Aruba since we will have only been gone for 4 days. If we get anything, my guess it will be in Acapulco. They had to fly in some stuff in Acapulco last time and we hung out in the bay until the stuff came (it was for the shows in the Walt Disney Theater).

I wonder what the fuel cost is in Aruba vs. United States. I know that DCL buys blocks of fuel way in advance (I think Capt. Henry said like 6 months), but since Aruba is not a normal stop, wonder if they will top off the tanks in Aruba or not?

She's on vacation this week so I wasn't able to speak with her anyway. He expects me to wait until he has a chance to talk to the OT to ask her why she thinks he needs meds, but he can't come this Wed after all, and wants to talk to her next Wed about it. Bear with me, I'm still on page 224 of the last thread. ;) We actually WENT to his doctor for what I thought was his appointment for his ears, but it turns out that appt isn't until NEXT Monday. She's on vacation this week so I wasn't able to speak with her anyway. I told Tyler's dad today that I'm hoping she'll prescribe something for him when I talk to her next week and he went through the roof. "Not without my approval, she won't!" :lmao: Oh yes she will! He expects me to wait until he has a chance to talk to the OT to ask her why she thinks he needs meds, but he can't come this Wed after all, and wants to talk to her next Wed about it. NOPE.....He's had a month & a half of Wed appts he could have come to. I'm not waiting any longer. :thumbsup2

We have asked the captain before about this. They will load everything in Port Canaveral, and if they need to bring in anything else they will fly it in from the United States and load it on one of our stops. We were also concerned last year about them having to refuel the ship 1/2 way across the Atlantic and Captain Henry told us that would not be necessary as they have more than enough fuel to "go the distance"! I can't imagine they would need to put anything on in Aruba since we will have only been gone for 4 days. If we get anything, my guess it will be in Acapulco. They had to fly in some stuff in Acapulco last time and we hung out in the bay until the stuff came (it was for the shows in the Walt Disney Theater).

Interesting information, thank you. In the latest DCL Passporter they say that the ships are not allowed to provision anywhere else due to FDA regulations. Which I thought must be wrong. They obviously have to provision other places sometimes, when they are 'out of area'. Anyway, the DCL ships aren't even registered in the USA so why would they have to be subject to FDA regulations when outside US waters?

The new fee of $25 for a second bag is being levied by Continental, Delta, Northwest, United and US Airways. The low-fare carrier AirTran has announced that it will charge $10 for a second checked bag.

I know.. what kind of stupid money making scheme! We're on Jetblue, so PHEW! Most of us have 2 bags each!

I'm in the same boat. Just checked and my aunt's have been delivered and now my sister's are in transit from Richmond, BC to Prince George, BC. Mine aren't even in the system.... And I'm the one that organized the whole thing from the start!!

We will need to drop off our rental car at the Care Care Center mid afternoon and planned to get a lift from there to DTD for the meet.
