Dedicated v. Lockout

I know that some people prefer a dedicated 2-bdrm because of the "one unit" feature while others like a lockout so the grandparents or friends have their own space, but if you have reserved a lockout will MS allow you to "drop" one of the units (1bdrm & studio) without cancelling your reservation ??

No, MS does not allow that. If you want to drop part of a 2 bedroom lockoff, it's a cancel and rebook. If there's availability for the part you want to keep, it's no problem.

You can book them independently and ask they be together (no guarantee). Or you could book both a 2 BR and a smaller unit then cancel the one you do not need.
