I hate math! I hate it with every fiber of my being.
I mean, I'm good at it (A+, A average; Pre-Algebra/8th grade math while I'm in 7th grade) but I still hate it.
My teacher is ok. She yells at us a lot, but we actually learn stuff.
However, there are some people who actually do like it.
How, I will never know, but there are some.

If not, why not? It's incredibly confusing and I think it's hard.

Our math teacher is funny and pretty laid back.
I usually get when he's teaching it, but after that I just can't do it.
I'm great at the homework assignments, I'm just horrible at tests.

I like the Chemistry stuff were doing in Science that has to do with math though.

Okay, so here's what my Math teacher does:
*She reviews yesterday's lesson for 30 minutes (leaving 10 minutes for the new lesson
*She gives us a lot of homework and doesn't even grade it herself
*Sometimes she gives us homework on stuff she didn't even teach us about
*On certain days like today she lets the homework "slide" and you still get full credit the next day. That's not very fair, now is it?

While I may find math boring in class, out of class it's fun and it calms me down. If I'm in the middle of a huge rant, I start to work my way through the Fibonacci Sequence (the numbers associated with Phi), recite Pi (I'm up to about 15 digits!), or I just stop and do simple addition. But now that we're learning Trigonometry in my class, I've been starting to do radians to degrees conversions instead.

I use it for track, too. If I'm running and I need to distract myself, out comes Fibonacci and when I'm throwing, I say my times tables and my perfect squares (and occasionally I find square roots).

My friends and I play "Prime/Not Prime" on occasion, too.

Geometry I hate, but Algebra and advanced Math Theory are wicked fun.

If not, why not? Mostly because the class is repetitive. We do a thousand questions on the same thing, and they don't get harder. And because I hate working things out with numbers.

Do you like your math teacher? She's a nut. I like her jokes, and stuff, but she's not a good teacher. She has a disability that makes it hard for her to write things down properly (like you say ice cream she writes random letters), she loses track easily, and if people annoy her enough she says 'That's it, I'm done teaching because you don't want to listen.' Sure that's fine for them, but I WANT TO LEARN. And she's kind of intimidating, she's so random, and had has odd beliefs, you're afraid to ask her questions because she might burst out with something odd...

What grade math are you in?I'm a junior in an all freshmen math class but that's because it's Algebra 2 Honors so it's all the really smart freshmen. I wasn't on the honors track freshman and sophomore year and I was put in it this year.

No joking at all, totally seriously, i can say without a moment of hesitation that I would shoot myself in the face before I gave myself over to a life time career of math.

It doesn't really bother me.
I mean, it's no cup of tea, but it's not like I dread going to that class or anything.
I'm in Algebra II. My school's dumb, and it goes Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II.

I finished Algebra in middle school, since I was in the advanced class, so I completely forgot most algebraic equations by the time Algebra II rolled around.

I actually kind of like math when i really understand the subect like im learning that same 8th grade algebra and some of its not that hard but what makes math my least favorite subject is my teacher. he is romainian and a math fanatic he is nice but he will embarass kids that get the problem wrong when they are solving a problem on the board. he screams like "What the Hell Are You Doing!!" and gets really mean. and then he makes corny jokes lol but then he makes his test kinds of triky i mean i still do well on them but he puts problems on them that feel like they are unsolvable!!! lol although on my recent test i just got a 94! yay!!

I hate math this year.. I'm in Statistics and my teacher doesn't teach us. We teach ourselves from the book and she goes on Facebook. Cool, huh? Yeah not when you get the test and it's all stuff you don't understand and tried to ask questions on but she never gave you a concise answer. Awesomeeeeeee.

But I loved math last year.. it was advanced math/trig. It's so simple, just use the formulas. Oh I loved it. I love when things just make sense.
And my teacher was amazing last year!!

In college I only have to take 1 math class, statistics.. but I'm gonna try college algebra because i like it =)
