Can someone please tell me what's to stop someone from taking a taxi to Atlantis. Taking your own towels & going swimming & catching lunch in an expensive restaurant & just having fun touring the grounds?:bounce:

You are more than welcome to take a cab to Atlantis, shop, visit casino, eat, and look around inside the resort. They do however have employees posted outside to keep any non hotel guest from using the pools, or their beach. We went in January and had a great time. However we had very limited access outside. They check for armbands.

So what's the deal w the armband thing?

You are and those in your room are given an armband to show that you are guest of either Atlantis or Comfort Suites ( across the street .You can only get an armband by having room reservations at either Resort. There are a lot of threads on this subject, a lot of people book a room just to use the pool and amenities at Atlantis.
