We are considering bringing wine on board but are saddened by the $15 corking fee per bottle. We are 2 couples travelling together and imagine we would share a bottle (at most 2) at night with dinner. Should we bring our own? Is the Wine and Dine package worth the money?
Thanks!

We purchased the wine package on our 3/9 cruise and am glad we did. I probably would not have ordered wine each night if we had not ordered this and we really enjoyed it. If you are going to purchase wine each night it gives you alittle savings.

What is the "wine and dine" package? I haven't heard of this before. What does it cost and include?
Thanks!

It's basically just a pre-purchase of wine for your meal. They have 2 different packages; I recall on the 7 day that the less expensive package was around $150 or so.
With the ridiculous $15 corking fee ($17.50 when you include the tip), the package is probably a reasonable way to go unless you have a very special bottle that you want to have.

Thanks for the info. Where do you sign up for this if you are interested? I have not seen anything about it except on these boards? Also, is it a bottle of wine each night? What if you don't finish it? And, anyone know the price for the 4 day?

When you get on board, there will be people offering this package along with the infamous soda mugs. Also, I believe you can purchase it at your first dinner seating. The package is basically a pre-purchase of 7 bottles. If you don't finish a bottle at a dinner, your servers will bring it to you the next night. I think I even read on this board a while back that you can take it with you after dinner but I'm not sure about that. As has been posted above, it's a good deal as opposed to buying one each night and made it fun to be able to pick one out each night.
