Labour Day Weekend Border Crossing and parking

We are planning on flying out on the Saturday morning to fly out of Buffalo.
Should we expect long lines at the border. Right now we are looking at a late morning departure. If there is going to be long lines might cross
Friday night and stay at an airport hotel.

Other than the on site long term parking what are some other options for parking. I thought there were a couple of private lots around the airport.

Hi - If you get to bridge before 8am you should be fine, but by late morning the lines can stretch into hours. Check the bridge reports for 1st-4th of July weekends this year and you will get a feel for holiday waits. That weekend and labour day weekend mimic each other. Evenings on Friday can be busy too unless you wait till after 9pm.
