Hello,
I'll be off to Orlando in 10 days time and I want to buy some Hockey gear whilst I'm over there. Can anyone tell me the locations of some stores which sell Hockey equipment?
I'm more interested in the roller-Hockey side but an ice Hockey store would do.
Thanks.

Hi there Greg and welcome to the DIS UK - I hope someone can help you with this but I've done some searching but haven't come up with anything so far for hockey.

Hi Greg nice to see you :)
I don't know about specialist stores but there is a large chain of sporting goods store ( the size of B&Q's) called the Sports Authority, thers one on the 192 and one on Sand lake across from the Florida Mall. They sell stuff for just about every sport.
Check them out at Sports Authority (http://www.thesportsauthority.com)

Greg,
The Sports Dominator chain usually carries a reasonable range of NHL gear. There's one on International Drive, on the stretch between Sand Lake Road and Wet & Wild. There's another one down on the US192 heading towards Splendid China. There's also a small sports store on City Walk at Universal/IOA. They only have a very small stock, usually only 2 or 3 teams, but you can often get some bargains - my son got a Florida Panthers top for half price last June.
Another option is to try the ESPN store at The Boardwalk - they don't sell team merchandise but they sell ESPN logo tops. There are also ESPN outlets at Downtown Disney and in one of the stores at the top of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.

I seem to remember seeing a lot of Hockey gear in one of the sports shops in the Florida Mall too - sorry can't remember the name of it .
