What programs do you use?

I just can't stand this anymore!! I watch all these amazing designs and really want to try some for myself!! Can you tell be what programs you use and how expensive are they. I have seen some photoshop programs on the web for $300+ and that is a bit much for me to play with.

they are all pricey but torrents aka download versions *free but its pirated software.

But you can download 30 trial online of photoshop free
