Hi all
We should be going back again in October. I have a link which only gives ride closures up to May/June time.
Does anyone know when they announce closures for the second half of the year?
Don't want to book to find a fave ride is out of action.

Hi. Can't help with your question I'm afraid, but I'm going to DLP in October too and would be interested to know which link you used to get your info. Thanks.

I wanted to know this too so i emailed Disney to see if they could tell me. The reply i got was that they could only see up to 3 months in advance and so were unable to help until July.
I have taken a chance and booked anyway, fingers crossed Thunder Mountain isn't closed as i will have one very unhappy daughter.

I also use this page on DLRP Magic (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/). :)

Disaster! Pocahontas Indian Village, possibly my DD's (3) favourite thing, is closed during our entire stay in May.:scared1:

I always get so nervous booking a trip without knowing about ride closures!
The first time I went to DLRP, both Phantom Manor and Pirates of the Caribbean were closed... what a disappointment! :sad2:

when i went at the end of august a couple of years ago Big Thunder Mountain was closing the day after we got there so we managed to get a couple of rides on and our picture but had to spend the rest of the trip without it :sad2:

BTM was closed for a massive renovation back in October 2006. I would think that it would be open for a while yet before they close it again. Last year Indiana Jones was closed in October for renovation, so that should be open as well.
This is just a guess though, sorry I cant be more helpfull

If they are doing a MAJOR refurb then they know long in advance. The second time we went we were warned that Space Mountain would be closed, as that was when they changed it into Mission 2. My dtr was dischuffed, as she had just grown tall enough to go on. She had to wait another whole year.
I doubt they would close anything for a planned refurb during Halloween if they could avoid it - it's such a busy season.

I would be devastated if BTM was closed during a trip! :sad2: It's my absolute favourite...
