Hi -

Most of my designs will go on white tshirts -- do I need to cut around the edges or can I just cut out the design in a square? Here's my t-shirt design that I've already posted, but I don't want to screw this up since they will be gifts for my friends and travel companions! Also, after I iron these on the shirts, I need to leave them alone for a day, then put them into the vinegar wash? Or, do I put them in the vinegar wash right after they are transferred?
Thanks for your help!

Lisa

If you are putting them on white tshirts it really won't matter much. All the white areas will be clear if you use light transfers. If you use dark transfers, it will show white.

You can certainly cut around all the chicks but cutting it into a square would probably not only be easier but would look better. (you can't cut around the letters very easily anyway)

If it were me, I would just cut around the square.

As far as the vinegar, I have no idea, I have never done it. Hopefully someone else will be around to help you with that.

I hope this helped.

I didn't use light transfers only dark; however, my instructions say to wait 24 hours before washing the shirts. So I printed the transfers - waited at least a day - ironed the transfers on already pre-washed (w/detergent only) tees - then waited another 24 hours before doing the vinegar wash.

worked for me!
