Hey there. For all who don’t know me, I’m Michelle – a 31 year old, Pirate chasin’, Disney lovin’, Jersey gal and I’ll be your guide through this crazy adventure! Let’s see, what fascinating details can I share about myself… Well, by day I work (through a temp service) for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and I love it! Along with DH, we are foster parents currently without any little ones to care for. I enjoy movies, photography and people watching. DH prefers to think of it as me being nosey!
DH (32) – I love him to death, really. But he absolutely despises WDW. His last trip was in Aug 2006 when we took our kids. Since then, he hasn’t been back and doesn’t care to go back EVER. However, his parents, brother & nieces wanted to go during free dining – so nah, nah, nah, nah nah – he’s going back in August anyway! Is important to this TR because he will be the one chauffeuring me to and from the Atlantic City airport!
PART 1
Why Disney? A little bit of a back story if you will. My parents took me to the Magic Kingdom right around the age of 1 month. They drove straight through from Jersey, all the way to Florida just to take me to see Mickey! I’m pretty sure that’s when and how my love for all things Disney started. Through the years, my parents took my DSis and I on “day trips from Jersey” to Disney. They usually involved driving from NJ to FL in a day and a half, staying offsite, hitting the Magic Kingdom for one or two days and then driving right back home. I loved those trips – no matter how rushed they may have seemed, they gave me great memories of family time. DH and I honeymooned in Disney and were able to give two trips to our special little ones that aren’t with our family any longer. So short story long, WDW holds an extremely special place in my heart. I can go there and see something and can relive the special memories of trips gone by. It’s just, well, magical! You wouldn't believe how much grief I get from my DH and his family about why I "need" to go to WDW every so often. Hey, I enjoy the good life and that's what Disney gives to me, so I go back as often as possible.
