Good Morning,
We are flying southwest and I'm thinking that one of my daughter's hockey bags would be perfect for the kids' stuff.
They have both the type with wheels or regular (old-style).
Can I use it for one of her checked pieces?
tia!

i don't see why not, just make sure there are no rips or anything in the bag..I bought an expandable bag similar to hockey bag to use when we are on our flight home. There is no way all the Stuff I bought on the Disney website and had shipped to the hotel will fit in our suitcases!

Yes, we did it last week. DS used a small hockey bag with wheels.

However, watch the weight. They do weigh the bags and mine was 52lbs. I had to pay the $25. overcharge.

We flew SW last summer with hockey equipment (goalie stuff which is large and heavy) but were never charged anything extra. We had the 'old style' bag which probably makes a difference because the wheeled bags are so much heavier to start with. They just checked it like luggage with no problems.
