Our Beloved VMK

All the times we've laughed and the times we've cried i'll never forget VMK. Even though its not going to end for another month i am quitting. i am letting go now before i start to cry harder.
So in this time of ending i give to you a poem by robert elliot:
"Leaving"

"Open your arms to change, but please don’t lose yourself
You are what makes you who you are in sickness and in health
A friendly atmosphere has made you who you are to be
Your character is in charge and will control your destiny

You’ll go someplace you’ve never gone, you’ll make your mark again,
You will reset your standards, and sure will make new friends
As soon as today is yesterday your heart will always give
I hope you won’t regret today, cause your future longs to live

If our paths don’t cross again, I won’t forget this day
Cause I’m afraid of change, I’m scared to shift my ways
My eyes will see things they’ve never seen, but I’ve always been here
The time that counts your moments gone will teach me not to fear.

You’ll look upon your life and see familiar grounds
You’ll hear the call of memories and recognize the sound
All the lives you change will make stars disappear

Thanks for being apart of vmk and whoever is my friend i shall leave you with my respect and my pleasure to become part of your life...thanks VMK, for your hard work and effort...i know it was a hard descision, but it was also hard for me...but at last i make this final descision to leave now before i drown in tears...i can't go on vmk anymore without crying...becuz i have had too many good memories that i will never get back

{{Hugs}} What a great poem to sum up many feeling about the closing. I've thought to leave now, like you did. I figured I should quit before it gets too painful. However, I've decided to play until the bitter end. They will have to drag my virtual self out of the Forecourt on May 21.:goodvibes

lol:lmao: i would stay but i just can't take it anymore, im too sad...i can't go on there anymore without talking about it closing...everywhere i go someone brings it up and i get sad again....and then what made it worse is when i went to one of my own rooms and looked at the pics i have taken...i started tearing up like mad...i decided enough was enough...so i quit

I completely understand.:goodvibes :hug: im glad you understand...and ive been signing petitions like mad..even though i know it probably won't help...but im still trying...but when it does end...i'll always remember it no matter what.
