Which one do you think would be better? I already have an ADR for Les Chef - should I try and change it to Bistro?

Chefs De France is the restaurant that is on the DDP not Bistro De Paris. Unless something has changed. I think Bistro if they added it would be 2 TS but I don't see this restaurant on the All Ears list.

Thanks! I didn't see Bistro on the not included list but I just quickly glanced at it. That makes it easy for me then!

We had an amazing meal at Chefs in February. I think you'll be very happy with it.

We ate at the Chefs de France in January this year and it was the WORST FILET I HAVE EVER HAD! It was so tough, I couldn't cut it with the steak knife and forget chewing it..

I complained about it, and all they did was offer another one of the same thing. I believe that they gave us some other cut than a filet because we were on the dining plan. The texture wasn't even right for the steak and even a bad filet should have been more tender than this was.

Needless to say, on the dining plan at least, I will not eat there again as I think they are dishonest to their customers in what they are serving.

Look for Steak Frites on the menu. Last time we had it, it was awful.

What is good at Chefs de F, went there 2 years ago, it was ok for me and I remember DW did't like the steak, but we have ADR's for Sept. there, now maybe thinking of switching and trying the The Big River Grill and Brew at Boardwalk, never been there.

Here it is on the menu.. Look on the dinner menu.

Again, worst steak I have ever had.. So tough I couldn't cut it (my DW was the same way) and couldn't even chew it..

Filet de boeuf grille, sauce au poivre noir Gratin Dauphinois et haricots verts - Grilled tenderloin of beef with black pepper sauce, original potato gratin of Savoy and green beans. - $31.95

We ate there last year and all four of us really enjoyed our meal. We have booked again for this year.

Of course, none of us had the "steak".

I honestly believe our experience with substandard quality filets was because we were on the DDP.. I can't imagine they would serve that kind of filet to everyone or they wouldn't be able to satisfy any customer with the meal.

With that said, you could have gotten lucky on the DDP or maybe we just got un-lucky.. in any case, they have an issue at least some times..

To be fair, the other aspects of the meal were fine..

Last year we went to Coral Reef I had the fish cause I thought a fish place how good would the steak be? My DW had the steak and said it was better then Le Cellier she loved it, this year we are booked there in June and Sept. and well at least in June going to have that steak.
But again thinking of changing Chefs De France for Big River Grill.

Personally, I think les chefs is pretty mediocre. Inattentive service, bad winelist, not great food, and if you are paying cash its overpriced. Its a nice setting tho.
