I am thinking of renting points; but in working out the budget, I just need to know if I can still buy the Disney meal plan?

Yes. Contact the person you are renting from and ask them to add the DDP for your stay. You'll have to purchase it for everyone in the party for the length of your stay and you'll pay for it at check-in.

Thank you for your responses. One follow up, do I pay the person I am renting from, or do I pay Disney when I get there for the Meal Plan.

One quick follow-up question. If I want to invite some family members for the first half and some for the second half, is there a way to do the meal plan just for their individual length of stay?

Thanks

No as both Paging Tom Morrow and Dean posted it is for every person on the reservation for the number of nights on the reservation.

ThanksNot under the rules. IMO, this will have to be addressed with DVC at some point as DVC vacations are far more likely to not include the same group for the entire period compared to other stays at WDW.

You would have to have two separate reservations that could not be linked. You might have to move for the second reservation.
