Chapter 1: the Beginning will they fall for it again???


Ok so I went over and spent the night with the Kids....we had told them that I was taking them somewhere...and that I wanted to get up early so I was spending the night...

well we did get up early ...DisneyMom and I got up at 3:30am...the alarm was set for 4 but I got up early...and so did she...I went out and got my big bag...so that she could pack her stuff in it...so we got us packed and all our Matching shirts Ready...to distribute....and....we go in to wake up the kids ....here are a few pics...

so we tell them to get up we are going to Disney....and then we go to Drews room...and he is not in bed where is he....well he planned to "April Fools" me by hiding....

so we drag them into Disneymoms Room and tell then they need to get there shirts and shorts and stuff that we are Going to Disney...well as alot of you Know this is the 2nd time in two years that I have done this...and if you read my old report you know that this years April Fools was planned out last summer...and that we are actually going...but they dont know it...and I got a Yeah Right Dad from Drew and a are we really from Banana....and a yeah we are going to Disney form LeeSee she believes everything her Daddy says....

so here is a pic of me explaining that its not a joke and we are really going....

LeeSee goes tp get her stuff.....Banana is going is it for real but goes to get her stuff ..."just in case" we are ....and DrewmyBoo he goes into his room and gets his Camera which he can video also on...and he records that he "knows" we are not really going and we are not going to get him....I ended up having to force him to Pack it was funny...

So we finally get them to bring there stuff into the room and we get them packed i get the Van Loaded and we head off....I tell them that if they dont go to sleep then I will turn around...and go back home....now Drew and anna are comvinced we are not going that we are just making them get up early...but Leesee shes not saying a thing shes going to sleep.....

we Head down the road I type in Disney into My GPS and we are on our way...well we get about an hour down the road...and I look over at DisneyMom and sy softly but loudly enough for them to Hear...yeah they were faking being asleep ....well LeeSee was asleep...and say Well I guess I can go north on 75 here and swing back around....

I hear Drew from the back going I knew it ,....and Anna opens her eyes and looks at me and starts to Cry....dang Evil Disneydad has made his baby cry 2 years in a row...so I whisper to her ...We are really going....well she doesnt know wether to believe me or not...but she is not taking any chances.....and she goes back to sleep ....Drew ...he is still saying yeah right ...

so we get on 75 ...yes headed South and in about 6 hours we see all the signs for Disney....

now Just so everyone Knows..we arent staying in Disney this time...so Drew still doesnt believe we are going to Disney at this point and the girls dont care because we are staying in Kissimmee...so they are Happy....

oh yeah we made sure before we put there stuf in the bags that they got everything...and I had asked disneymom to get some stuff together early and she had...so they had it all...

Up next Chapter 2: Do we Buy the Time Share...or is Disneydad just trying to save money.....

ok so when we last left off....we were at the Hotelll.....and trying to decide if Disney was in the Budget.....

well all you guys have seen the Time share boothes in every hotel within a 1000 miles of the Kingdom...and they all offer what sounds like a good deall...but Ive never seen a deal like this one...

you may not know this but this trip...well the Hotel and some food was being paid for by our visting a Time Share presentation...

been on them before... and even owned one 10 years ago...
it was nice right outside of Disney...and we used the heck out of it...but then one trip we stayed inside the Kingdom...and we were hooked....never again...would we go to Disney on a week long trip or more and stay anywhere but in the Kingdom...

However this trip was not a planned budget trip it was just a heck wouldnt it be fun to pull the same April Fools joke again...

So Disneydad went on a search and found a great deall with a timeshare company for free hotel....so He took it!@!!!

Now I hate sitting thru those presentations...but not going to buy and for 3 nights for free...hey Ill sit thru it once...

then.....im talking to the guy at the "help" desk in the hotel...and trying to figure out dinner...and wether we were going to a dinner show or not..and he says ...do you have your tickets yet?

I go Nope going to pick them up at the gate...he goes what ticket are you going to buy? I said 2 parks 2 days...Epoct and MGM...(yeah I know its now called Disneys Hollywood Studios....just didnt want to type all that out!)...he says how many guests I said 5 adults...and banana is now an adult so we are all adults according to Disney ...Drew is trying to convince the guy at the Mexican resteraunt that he is an adult so please serve him a Cervesa but the guys not taking Disneys word for it...anywho...the guy at the "help desk goes...I can get you those tickets plus an option for $450 if you go on this tour!....Disneydads ears perk up....and ask whats an Option....he says well you can go to 2 parks 2 days plus go here!!!

for an additional day....now Im adding this up in my head....and thats a savings of over $350 just for the 2 days 2 parks....and we get Disney Quest for free!!!

so i booked it then went and begged DisneyMom to go on another tour she said okey dokey....and we set it up for the next day right after the one we still had to attend for....the Hotel...I also went down to the front desk and booked a 4th night...

so we go on the tours...and diddnt Buy :sad2: did have fun telling the old fart that was trying to sell the second one NO....he was a jerk!

and we head to Disney Quest....

So you did not care for the Pirates ?? pirate: We tried that 2 years ago when we got the water parks and Quest for free in May.

Kids LOVED the "ANTIQUE" games.. "Hey Your parents grew up on those games."

We loved Pirates it was THe Jungle Cruise with the boat that we did no like...and yes the old scholl games were awesome ...didnt get enough time there!!!

I have been through a few timeshare presentations and I have to say that it is so hard to get through the heavy sales part of the presentation - I hate saying no to people. The only timeshare presentation that truly tempted us was the DVC one - they even gave the kids ice cream :banana: .

I have been through a few timeshare presentations and I have to say that it is so hard to get through the heavy sales part of the presentation - I hate saying no to people. The only timeshare presentation that truly tempted us was the DVC one - they even gave the kids ice cream :banana: .

But we did go in Sept....and sept the year before...so...

And yes the DVC deal is something id love to do one day weve been to it also and they gave our Kids Ice Cream too....

How can you say no to 3 nights for $99 and a $100 voucher for your next stay at a Wyndham hotel? Although, I think you got me beat for a great deal!

How can you say no to 3 nights for $99 and a $100 voucher for your next stay at a Wyndham hotel? Although, I think you got me beat for a great deal!

Chapter 3: what the Heck does a Puck have to do with Food?

Ok so when I last left ya...we were in Disney Quest...and we were having a blast...

so we got hungry...and thought we need to eat...

so we left DQ for a bit and headed down to Wolfgang Pucks to see if we could
get in!

well we could but with a wait...
so we put our names on the list.....

and Disneymom and the kids sat on a bench whilst disneydad went to House of blues to get a beer or 2

a friend of mine...loves a beer called hmmm
whats it called....well they have them at House of Blues...so I went and got 2...
under the guise of Disneymom wanting one...
but guess what...I got to drink them both...

ma it would be nice to remember stuff but I can I got that Half timers diesease...
where half the time I forget what I remembered the other half....

oh well they are good beers...and only sold in certain states...

well we got into Wolfgangs...now i love this place when I was traveling to Orlando back about 10 years ago I went here a ton ....and if we have dining we always go here.....
its a great place to eat...

well this is early in the meal.....

our waitress was slow......

I mean really slow....but hey we were having fun.....

well after a bit.....disneydad started to get upset.....the food was slow....I never got the soup I was supposed to get...and dang after a while I was not happy....in fact the couple that took the last pic..they got up and left really mad.....

so I finally got so mad I got up and went to the manager...not very often i do this unless its to compliment...but this time it was to complain....the funny thing is that the manager is the same Guy who i went to in Sept...to tel that we had an Awesome time and I thought he should know...that we willl recomend Pucks to everyone....

well he pulled me over to the side...and asked me what was going on!!!!...it was obviuos that I was not happy.....

well I told him....and to be honest dont remember all the problems but if Disneydad complains at Disney theres a Problem....

he took care of us..and we were happy again

yeah it was fun of course....I had the Sushi Dinner....so did Drew....LeeSee had the Kids Spaghetti....

and Anna and Disneymom had the tuna tartar....

Drew my boo he got a Gold in Forms his first gold for forms...and a silver for fighting he normally wins that event but hurt his foot kicking the crap out of the kid before his championship battle....so he was limping ..still took him down to the wire though...

Chapter 4: Is Spaceship Earth really New or is it an Illusion?

Well it is really new....but not changed much....

Ok so when we last left each other....we were calling it a Night .....

I mean hey we are going to a Park...and we need to be up and at um....

so the Disney Gang get up the next morining...a little tired we go down to the "restaurant" and have some waffles *make um yourself* and some fruit and I had a egg Mcmuffin....ok so I wasnt at McD's but they had round pieces of yellow stuff that I think was and egg and they had round pieces of a sausage type meat...and they had muffins...so I made myself one...it was preety good going in...and thats all Im saying about that!!!

So we gather our stuff .....I get my "water" bottle filled with the usual Rum , Rum < and more Rum and a little Red Rasberry soda....

and we got in the ole Van and headed to Epcot....with a goal in mind of riding Spaceship Earth...one of my and LeeSees Favs....

so we get too.....

S we head over get Dmom her standard Wheelchair...well I think we already got it....but we head towards Spaceship earth the Ride....holy Carp the line was Long....so we head to the GAC Line...and it was still about 30 minutes...
but you wait in the cool air!!!...we jump on the ride and Im so excited to see the changes.....hoping they were great....they were good ...not great I thought they could have done more...but they did add a few new hidden Mickeys so that was nice .....

ok so now we have ridden this ride 4 times....we just kept coming off and getting back in the GAC line....and I got DisneyMom to take pics of the new Hidden Mickeys...I found these on my own ...not sure if they are in the new book....and one old one....so some of the HM's are still there..

Thank you *as he bows* yeah it was close while we were there also....there were 2 things Closed....Spaceship Earth...and R&RC....so when we planned this trip...we decided the 2 parks we would visit...wold be Epcot and Disney Studios

and yeah its there but you may have to blow it uo to see...I can see it but I know what it looks like...

I've read front, I've read the back end, now I just need the filling in the middle. Kind of like eating an Oreo in reverse. We got to try the NEW and IMPROVED Spaceshipl Earth, and were less then enthused. It''s just still boring on the ride back down, with no "Tomorrow's Child" music to get stuck in your head. Plus, I still miss Walter Chronkite's narration, or even now, Jeremy Iron's , who replaced him.
Oh well, they say change is good.
Speaking of change, you got any spare?

Those were great pictures of the family by the golf ball though, even though you went in April, May is still my favorite time to go, I don't think it's quite as crowded.

They did great :) It is indeed that time of year - for recitals and other fun. DD11 is marching and playing in our "Boatnik" Memorial Day parade on Saturday - whoohoo!
