Anyone know of any villas or villa companies with more favourable cancellation policies? We'd be needing something which gives back at least 80% (if not 100%) of the cost with 21 days notice.

Thanks

Do you expect to be able to walk away from your rental contract just three weeks before the holiday and not pay any or very little compensation?

At that short notice you should expect to lose 100% of the fee, which you will have already paid.

I think that private owns and rental company's will be thinking that if people pulled out that late in the day they might not be able to find someone else to rent at such short notice for the full rental price and would start losing money.

Book last minute then you won't have to worry about getting your money back

Yes, actually, I do. I've already found a couple of companies who offer 80% of your money back with 21 days notice and was just curious if anyone knew of any others. Thanks for your 'helpful' response.

Do you think there will still be any decent 3/4 bed villas with availability for last two weeks of July if I book at the end of June? Thanks.

Thanks. We've never rented a villa before but I am glad to hear it might be okay to hold out.

You are very welcome.
I trust you get the accommodation you merit.
