THE MOVIE...I saw the trailer for this Disney movie on Saturday. It looks like a really great movie. It starts 8/25; any chance we may get to see it on the ship?
We saw the previews last night. It really does look like a good movie. Since we live right outside of Philly we are HUGE Eagles fans. So this is a definate MUST SEE for us! I hope they do show it on the ship, that would be great!

Chatty group this morning. :chat:
Doreen: I only need 1 bottle of bubbles not 2. :thanks:
Moria: You should have no problem finding pirate " stuff " at WDW. Like Terry said and I have read in cruise reports they do sell some things on the ship but I believe you would be better off buying in WDW. :goodvibes
Linda: Remember the game tag your it?? Alot of people on this cruise.......what to chime in on this one. :rotfl2:

Grills is only about a five minute drive from the Radisson. It is along the shoreline of the Port Canaveral channel where the ships sail from. Here is Grills website link: www.visitgrills.com
I think I am going to give them a call and see if there is a group size limit, I tried sending them an e-mail but it came back to me.

Are they going to be able to handle a large group like this?
OK, I just got off the phone with Grills, I was told there is no limit to the number we can have in our group, but there is the possility that our group could get split up. When I was at Grills in May, we had 18 in our group for dinner and we met at 5:30pm. We only had to wait about 15-20 minutes and we were given three round tables side by side in the inside dining room. I am going to add Grills number to my cell phone, I was told I could call about an hour ahead of time to get our group added to the waiting list.
To make it easier, if we are already seated before some arrive, I will have our group listed as "Disney Magic Cruisers."

My family and I (DH, DD12 and DD9) were lucky enough to be able to book this cruise on such short notice (just a little over a month to go! ) This will be our third DCL cruise, but the first on the Magic (the other two were 3-night cruises) I've read through some of this thread (no way I could read all 518 pages!!) and you all sound like a fun group of people. As you can tell from my number of posts, I'm more of a "lurker" than a true DISser, but maybe it's time I changed that! Anyhow, it looks like it's going to be a fun cruise!

diznygirrl - Welcome aboard - This is a great bunch of people.
Tina - I do remember tag and I was just thinking about that the other day. I didn't know if you would be up to it with everything that is going on. Do you still have the green Mickey head on your computer so we can just print up a new one?
Andy - Do you have any postcards laying around? I think my kids would be a little upset if they don't get one this time.
Terry - I hope day two went as well as day one.
We lost power here for 3 hours last night - what a pain. Of course now I started a book because there was nothing else to do and I can't wait to get the kids to bed so that I can pick it back up. I know if I start it now I won't want to even talk to them. Hope everyone is having a good night.

For everyone else that booked the RADISSON 8/18 - group space is being held under the name of TRANS WORLD TRAVEL & VACATION CENTER. If you did not receive the discounted rate for our group, please call the Radisson with your confirmation # and tell them that you are part of this group TRANS WORLD TRAVEL and that you want the discounted group rate. Andy......just got the magnets today. They are fantastic. So glad you wrote "do not bend" on the envelope because my postman jams things into my mailbox. I've had several occasions where I needed a crowbar to get my mail out.
Just saw "Cars" today. How delightful. Boy, the reviews were way too harsh.
I'm trying to convince the family not to see POTC 2 until the cruise. But we read the book - Scholastic was selling one through the kids' school. Yes, it does end rather abruptly. Very much reminds me of the Rings and Star Wars sagas where the second movie is really just a set up for the third.
Yeah, my DD is an Orlando Bloom fan. I prefer the Legolas look myself. Those pointy ears do it for me.
Wow, Mother Nature is really getting us acclimated for the Caribbean weather. I could actually see the humidity in the air today.

I think we have most of our travel changes figured out...and we are ON for this cruise. Stan's surgery is now scheduled for 8/28 so we will be heading to the airport right from departing the ship.
We will now be arriving at WDW on 8/12, staying at the VWL. Head to the Radisson on 8/18.
I need to:
1.Confirm the Radisson and book the shuttle to the port
2.Figure out if we are renting a car, if so, for how long
3.If not renting a car, how are we getting from the airport to WDW to the Radisson and back to the airport.
4.Book a room for Sat night 8/12
Piece of cake! Prayers that everything stays on track and Stan is ok until the scheduled surgery date. The surgical coordinator said she had hoped we would keep our plans for this cruise. I'm glad.
TERRY
The scheduled Palo ressies look good to me. Thanks!

Wanna try for 7800 tonight?
I'll start by saying that so far I've lost 24 lbs! (only 76 to go in 5 weeks) :rotfl2: Anyway, today, I bought REGULAR SIZE MISSES CLOTHES in NY & Co., Macy's and Kohls. Now granted they were misses 16 and misses XL shirts but they aren't plus! Now if I could just lose the other 76 lbs. before I stuff my face on our cruise!
Anyone have any inane comment to add to get to 7800?
BTW, I'm also on deck 6 Cabins 6610 & 6611

Thanks Mary Rose, Diane and Moira for the kind wishes about my friends daughters wedding! Lisa and John are the happy couple and I am sure she look beautiful in her wedding gown on thursday. She will probably be surprised as how many people know about the wedding, but I am so happy for them!

I am doing my part to get to 7800.
I have been trying to hold off on this but I think it is time for me to start up my lists for this cruise. I am really getting excited except for the part about when we get back - Summer will be over. Oh well, can't have it all.
Darlene - great news that you guys will be with us.
I wish we could be at the Radisson too. I just couldn't resist the deal I got on Expedia - $59.00 for 6 people in Orlando at Ameri-suites. We will be at the terminal bright and early though (well as early as I can get my two darlings up and out of bed).
Andy - I will PM you in a week or so with the info. I think I should probably wait a little longer or I will really have them driving me crazy about when we are going.

Hellooooo I have a question that Andy or perhaps someone else might be able to answer? We are going to rent a car probably from Budget....so are we better off returning the car & then returning to the Rad to take the shuttle or returning the car & taking the rental car shuttle to the port? Is one better/ earlier than the other???
Thanks!

Diane - I rented a car to take us from the airport to the Radisson but I'd rather take a limo if anyone wants to split one with us. Then again, we probably need the car to get to Grill's. So I can't decide what to do. I can't decide which is better to do either in the morning. I don't know whether to take the Radisson shuttle or the car rental shuttle. :confused3 Decisions, decisions.

 Hi Dori, we've missed ya!!!
I knew you guys could get over the 7800 before I woke up this morning.
This trip I won't be needing to get a rental car, my mom is going to pick me up at the airport, then we will be going back to Deland for Thursday night, driving to the port area Friday afternoon, and leaving her car parked at the Radisson while we are on the cruise.
When I do have a rental car, I like dropping it off early around 8am before the office gets real busy, that would be way to early to take their shuttle to the port. After dropping the car off, I just walk back to the Radisson and wait until it's time to check in for the Radisson shuttle.

Good Morning Everyone :wave2:
There's been so much going on here that I'm not sure I can get in all straight.
First of all :welcome: to all the new people and a special :welcome: back to Andy
Andy; so happy :woohoo: we get to cruise with you, and can you please add the four of us to dinner at Grills
Terry: Congrats on the job, how exciting :bounce:
Darlene & Stan, Tina & Chuck our thoughts and prayers are with you :grouphug:
Mary Rose; we were in 6610 on one of the cruises and my cousin was in 6611, we liked the location, I hope you do too. have you recovered from Kelly Clarkson? We saw her last year, at Toms River Fest, although we were working the event, she put on a good show.
and I not sure who posted this qusestion about the rental but we ususally rent from Budget and then DH drops us and all the luggage off at the port and we go check in while we goes back to drop off the car, when he gets back he just needs to go the show his ID and we are good to go. :dance3:

Hi everyone :wave2:
Peeking in from work, on my break :magnify: Doreen and Bev: I brought the LS catalog to work with me. I'm going to pick out the items I want, then do I give the order directly to Doreen, or do I need to give it to Bev? If either of you can send me an email or PM with the info, and payment info, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! :)

I just received a phone call from my brother Rob(aka: Ben Franklin) letting me know that he was just hired by the U.S. State Department to go to Russia and portray Ben Franklin for five days, with all expenses paid. Rob said he would be leaving next Sunday and is very excited about this adventure, but his wife is not too happy about him going. Rob was recommended by the gentleman in Philly that does most of the Ben Franklin appearances, but "Ralph" was too busy and decided he didn't want to take this job.

Andy: I guess dropping the car off before the rush makes sense, but then again....I have none so that won't work. :teeth: No really that's a consideration, but ultimately I guess it's up to Mike. Goodness knows I'm certainly not walking a few blocks anywhere! :tiptoe: ;)
That's exciting about your brother Ben (aka Rob)! Do you have a pic of him in character?
Denise: I like the idea of being dropped off at the port while DH drops the rental off. So you can check in & he just has to show his ID? How does that work?
Dori: Nice to "see" you! :wave2:

If he did, he didn't say anything to me about it. :rotfl: But then again, that boy is so busy between his music and doing Franklin appearances and he also gives tours in the historic area of Philly, I have a hard time keeping up with him.

I've finally found something to contribute to the group. Since smoothies seem to be bit with many of us here, I found tropical glow straws. They are like glow neckaces, where you crack them and they light up. And they have some lei like flowers on them. I bought 60, so let me know if you would like one (or two, three, etc.)

You may notice on the list below that my party size has increased from 2 to 4, that is beacuse I just got off the phone with DCL after adding Hazel and Angelina to the cruise. Hazel will have to miss her niece's baby shower on August 26th, but what a reason to miss it!!! We are still on deck 6, but we did have to change to a cabin that slept 4. I'm so happy I was able to get them on the cruise with my mom and me!!!

Sue - nice to talk hear from you again. I wish we were going to get to meet.

Sue: It's great to "see" you again! You will be missed on this cruise, I had been looking forward to meeting a friend from across the pond. We still do plan on visiting some day, and I'd love to meet you then, if not there then maybe at Disney World some time. :)
Linda: Work is actually going very well. :goodvibes Of course I've only been there for 3 days, but if these last few days are any indication of the future, then I'm really going to like working there. I honestly couldn't have designed a better job/position for myself than what I have there. lol I start at 9am and begin by doing some paper work. The next hour and a half flies by and then it's time for break. I go into the break room with iced tea or coffee and sip it while I check the DIS boards. :surfweb: Then I go back to work for another hour and 45 minutes and do some computer work, then it's lunch time. I eat lunch while watching something on my video iPod, that takes only about 15 minutes, then I spend the next 15 minutes either reading or back on the computer in the break room. :surfweb: Then I go back to work and that's the part of the day where the woman I work with has been showing me new things to do; today I learned how to process auto loans that have been paid off. lol I do that task for about an hour and a half, then it's time for afternoon break. :surfweb: LOL Then, when I come back from break I only have about 45 minutes left to work, then I leave! lol I work in the corporate headquarters, in administration, and everyone in the office is *very* nice. It's a busy environment but not at all stressful. I only work 9am until 3:30pm, so the day really does fly by. And it's basically broken down into 1 1/2 hour segments which make it seem to go by even faster. :smooth: Tomorrow they're having a baby shower for one of the ladies in Human Resources, so they said to be prepared to eat cake in the afternoon. lol Monday and yesterday a large bag of fancy Hershey chocolates was being passed around and even though I declined, a couple of pieces of caramel/hazelnut chocolates were left on my desk anyway. I ate them :teeth: Hey, I didn't want to seem ungrateful. LOL Anyway... so far, so good! :thumbsup2 They have no problem with me taking off the days I need for this cruise, and they have a great vacation-days program where, once the 45-day orientation period is up, I'll already have a week's vacation to use in the first year of my employment there. This is very good because we already have another cruise planned for next February :rolleyes1 A 4-night Disney cruise, along with 3-4 days at Disney World. :teeth: And then after next July 10th (my 1-year work anniversary), I'll be entitled to 2 weeks of vacation time. Like I said, I LIKE this job a lot, so far :goodvibes
Tina: I'm so happy to hear you're still "official"!! :goodvibes

This is a total of 80 leis, plus however many PoohJen wants, that I'll need to order. I just checked online and the 75 cent leis don't seem to be available, although I'll call their customer service number this afternoon when I get home from work. If those aren't available I'll order the leis for $1.29 each, which do seem to be available. I have to wait until my second paycheck to order these, so it'll be a last-minute rush order! I'd probably pay more for postage to make sure I get them here on time! I'll be bringing them all with me to hand out, on the ship.

I'd like this to be my donation to the group, but depending on the final count, and final cost, I might need to ask for a small contribution, but I really would like this to be my gift to everyone :grouphug:

To those going on the Mayan Ruins Tour with Ivan and David -
I read on another post that you can arrange for them to pick you up at port if your group is large enough - rather than all taking separate cabs to meet them in town.
Would any of you be interested in this? I can contact them and see if we have enough people.

Here are the meals that I've been able to confirm for the Private Dining Room at Palo, along with the list of those who've signed up. If anyone can no longer make it to the meal they signed up for, PLEASE let me know ASAP, because we have other cruisers on a wait-list, in case of any openings. Thanks!
Terry,
Any chance for an addition? I was out of the loop when these plans were made. I'd like to join you guys for the dinner on Tues. Since I'm the only adult in my party, I don't see myself making it to Palos this time otherwise. (And I didn't make it to Palos on the last trip either.)

:sad2: Time for me to get off the boards and write the stupid paper that I have to email the professor by tomorrow. Procrastinator? Not me!
Lori
OMG that sounds jut like my life!!! LOL I have school tomorrow & I still have 4 chapters to read before that, send my response to the chapters by email to the professor & get a lesson plan typed. So what am I doing here??? LOL Procrastinator is my middle name!
Andy: So glad Hazel & Angelina will be joining you. When I saw you were sailing with us afterall...I kinda had a feeling that would happen!
Terry: Glad to hear your job is going so well! I will definitely give you some funds for buying the leis. Going through all the trouble of getting them is enough of a contribution to the group. I feel bad I'm not doing anything, but I'm not sure what to do? I looked at Oriental Trading but I didn't see anything worth buying. Any ideas???
Sue: Hi! :wave2:
Tina: Glad you will be joining us for sure! Hang in there!!! :tink:
I had a computer virus yesterday & I spent my entire day dealing with it! It took hours and hours & $70 but I think it's finally gone! That was not fun!! It makes me wonder why I purchase virus protection every year, but I still am not protected! What is up with that??? :badpc:
Take care everyone!

When I made the reservation a few months ago for this tour with Ivan and David, they said to take a taxi to a restaurant and meet them there. But I like this idea much better. I will email them too to see if we can all get picked up at the pier, there are 4 of us taking this tour. Thanks for the info!

I've finally found something to contribute to the group. Since smoothies seem to be bit with many of us here, I found tropical glow straws. Is there any room to add 5 more for the dinner at Grills?? :grouphug: Doreen, Marty, Daniel, Elaine and me? If so please add. I was thinking of going to Downtown Disney for the afternoon but I called the Radisson and they said we could use the pool before 3pm if our room wasn't ready yet so I think that is a nice and relaxing way to begin our vacation.
Also does anyone have any limo company they prefer using from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport on the 26th. With 5 people and "all of Doreen's luggage" I was thinking this might be the way to go. Any insight would be greatful!!!
I don't know who suggested the straws but can you put me down for 5. Also Terry I want to contribute to the leis.

Is there any room to add 5 more for the dinner at Grills?? Doreen, Marty, Daniel, Elaine and me? If so please add. I was thinking of going to Downtown Disney for the afternoon but I called the Radisson and they said we could use the pool before 3pm if our room wasn't ready yet so I think that is a nice and relaxing way to begin our vacation.
I just added your group to the Grills meet Karen. Do you know if Doreen mailed out the green shirt I am supposed to make for you? I haven't received it, and I was just wondering if it has been mailed out. I sent Doreen an e-mail but I haven't heard back from her. I was just wondering if you knew anything about it.

Andy- I went to print the discount coupon and all I see is a blurr? Can you help?
Doreen will mail my shirt out this week if it is not too late. Let me know. She has been very busy this week, she hasn't even had time to write on the boards. I am sure she will make up for lost time.

Just think, in five more Saturday's it will be our turn to board the Magic. I asked Angelina last night, "Are you getting excited about getting back on the Magic so soon?" She didn't even have to say one word, she was just beaming from ear to ear, with the biggest smile on her face. I wish I had my camera ready to get a photo of her.

Nope, not even my wife. They all think we are in a cat 6, I still have the original invoice from 09/04 when I booked stateroom 6548. I am having my TA send the "docs" to another address so they don't open them. I told them that I did online check-in (which I did) so we don't have to worry about any paperwork. The last "dead giveaway" are the luggage tags. I plan on holding onto them until the last minute. My family doesn't know the stateroom numbers that well so when they see the tags I will tell them,"we must have gotten an upgrade to a cat 4". :rolleyes1

Some info I need to share regarding the Palo private dining room meals that we have booked:
I was asked by a few people about making a change in the time for one or two of the meals, so I sent an email to the Group Specialist asking if it was possibe to change the time. I received this reply:
They may not seat you until they arrive. I don't know
what the policy is. You may want to ask Palo when you get on the ship.
Perhaps they can amend your time to make it more convenient.
I'm posting this here in the thread because EVERYONE who has signed up for one of these meals needs to know that you may possibly be holding up the entire party from being seated if you're late to Palo. Hopefully they wouldn't do that; I hope they'll seat us, in case anyone runs a little late. It is, afterall, vacation.
I tried my best to get "better" reservations times, and I wasn't given the exact times I requested, and there's nothing I can do about that. I apologise for any problems or inconveniences this may cause, but it's out of my control.
Ed: Since I'll no longer be at the dinner on Tuesday night I've asked the Group Specialist to list you as the contact for that meal. I didn't think you'd mind since you're also the contact for the Thursday brunch.

07-15-2006, 06:48 PM
...I booked this cruise in September 2004 without ever having been on a Disney cruise. We had booked the 14 night August repo cruise in April 2004. We loved the repo and this will be our 2nd DCL cruise. We cruised on Holland America to Alaska about 10 years ago...the scenery and excursions were fantastic...the cruise was nothing compared to DCL. We have an RCCL cruise booked this spring break (cost is more than $4000 less than DCL :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: for same itinerary). I desperately wanted to go on a Med cruise, but couldn't justify the price and didn't want to miss two weeks of my summer in the Pacific NW. We booked the 12/15/2007 cruise instead hoping my kids won't be in school that whole week. Won't know their schedule until Spring of 2007.
There will be nine of us on this cruise me46, DH41, DS12, DS9, my sister 51, my other sister 44, her DH43, DD12, and DS6.
I stress just writing this post since my husband and I are not the most social people in the world. We are fine one-on-one with anyone, but groups of people are intimidating. Anyway...my rambling point is...we would love to meet and talk with many of you but probably won't if you don't approach us. It is just not in our nature to approach people we don't know. So...if you see a family wearing matching tie-dye shirts...that will be us...Anna, Curtis, Lucas, and Trevor. Please say Hi! My kids don't have the social shyness my husband and I do, but probably suffer anyway because we don't pursue contact with others.
Suggested conversation topics are cruising (a no brainer), gardening, the Pacific NW, Seattle, Hawaii, snorkeling, underwater photography, magnetic door signs, raising boys, the Seahawks, TiVo, WDW, DL, etc. Thanks in advance to those who assist the socially disadvantaged. Don't be scared off by our sickly, pale skin...it is a common condition in the Pacific Northwest....and isn't contagious.
Also, please stop by cabin 6112. We will have some door magnets to give away...
The last five weeks before our cruise are going to go by really fast....I just made reservations to spend the next two weeks in Tallahassee and Texas on business. When I get back, we'll have less than three weeks to wait. This will be the first time in 7 years I've had to travel on business. This will be the first time I've had to travel on business since my kids were born when they didn't come with me (my husband and I work for a great company that managed to find projects for both of us when we needed to travel so the whole family went together). I work for the same company Dori does...IT industry. I have mixed emotions to be traveling without them...it will be strange not having any family responsibilities...but I will miss them.
Enough rambling...I've got to get back out to the garden and make a dent in the weeds. I've been inside for the past two hours avoiding the sun... wouldn't want to add any color to my ghostly epidermis. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

07-15-2006, 07:03 PM
....after rambling through my previous post....I'll get to what I really came to the disboards to say....
We recently cancelled our Fury Catamaran excursion in Cozumel. Seven of us were going to go on Fury while my sister's DH and DD12 went to Tulum. After researching, I realized the excursion wouldn't satisfy either the snorkelers or the beach lovers in our group. My husband and I are doing the 3 reef snorkel with Eagle Ray Divers instead. Tour leaves at 9am and returns at 3pm. Everybody else is doing the Cozumel Beach Break. Let us know if anybody else is planning on a tour with Eagle Ray Divers....maybe we can share a taxi to the marina.
I would love for the rest of the family who aren't snorkeling or going to Tulum, to go to Paradise Beach; but I think they feel safer sticking with a Disney excursion. Since they are watching our sons, I'll let them do what they feel comfortable with.

We are very, very excited about this excursion.
We'd love to share a ride over from the ship.
I, too, am ghosly white looking right now. Okay, I have a wee bit of a tan below the shorts and t-shirt line. Which just makes the rest of me look whiter when wearing a bathing suit.

...I better hurry up and get my printer warmed up to make my door signs. <Actually my printer is chugging away printing a 300 page document I have to have memorized for my business trip next week.> Here is my secret....I am printing off the nautical flag letters on magnetic paper and then cutting each individual letter out. That way I can spell whatever I want on my door. If anybody wants the letters of your family name or a short saying for your door sign, let me know and I'll have them when I get on the ship and hopefully bring them to the disMeet if I can overcome my social shyness. I printed off probably 300 letters before the repo cruise and gave them away on the last day. It was fun and made for a great door sign. Here is an example:

Let me know if you want some...
Hi Anna! :wave2: I knew you weren't new because I recognised your DIS name from the list of cruisers on Page 1! :teeth:
Hey that's a neat idea about using the nautical flags to spell out names. May I please request the following letters:
T - E - R - R - Y
J - O - H - N
C - R - A - I - G
R - O - B - B - Y
Thanks so much, I love nautical flags :sail:
And please don't be shy. Be sure to come to the DIS meet at 3pm on Saturday at the Promenade Lounge. I'll be looking for you (this is when you'll all have the tie-dyed shirts on???), and I'll walk over and start a conversation. :chat: I know all about raising boys, TIVO, gardening, WDW, and DCL. :teeth:

Yes we'll be wearing tie-dye. We always wear tie-dye. Except at dinner.
I have about 12 shirts to make before we cruise. Unfortunately my five weeks of leeway to get them made has just been reduced to three weeks. What am I doing on the disboards when I've got so much to do!!!???

Welcome back to the thread.
I too am in IT, and Dori and I have some of the same IT expirances, I suspect you do to.
This is my 27th year in the field, and have seen many changes.

I'm starting to think about packing and I swear I'll need an entire suitcase just for shoes -- and I'm not even much of a "shoe girl".

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah my IT experience is 24 years. Worked in the automotive, distribution, medical claims, telecommunications, metrics, and other industries. I have traveled to Boston, Detroit, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Chicago, New Jersey, and Texas for extended business trips (3 to 21 months) over that career. I've also vacationed at WDW (10+ times), DL (4 times), DCL (1 time), Holland America to Alaska (1 time), Hawaii (3 times, two weeks each time), Europe (3 times, six weeks each time) in the same years. I had never been on a plane before I started my career. I was born in Northern California (no, not San Francisco... about 300 miles north in Arcata), but Western Washington State has been my home for 21 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else....although if Hawaii had a cheaper cost of living and was closer to family and didn't have a five hour time difference to the East Coast where my customers are and had good schools for my boys...I'd have to think twice about moving there....I'm rambling again.... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

There will be nine of us on this cruise me46, DH41, DS12, DS9, my sister 51, my other sister 44, her DH43, DD12, and DS6.
Hi Neighbor!
We haven't been posting because we weren't sure whether we would be able to make this date, but it's offical now! We have similiar age kids - DS 11, DS 9, DD 7, DS 3 and the start of it all DW 39 and DH 40 and DM 65.
We live in Auburn and also suffer from the pale skin dilemma known to Pac NWters. It won't be hard to pick us out!
We are in 6028/6030 - hopefully we'll meet up at some DIS meetings!
We are sooooo excited!

My 2 boys are right at the ages of 2 of the boys in your group.
If you like tie-dye there's a thread on the main Cruise Forum for how to make a Mickey Head tie-dye.

Hello, well, it's another beautiful sun shiney day in Syracuse, NY. :cool1: I am still tired from working the Saturday night shift at the restaurant. Trivia had a good crowd, but Karaoke was standing room only. Oh, to have two Saturdays in a row off. Pure Heaven!!! :Pinkbounc Who do I contact to get a door magnet with my name on it and is it possible to order the Nautical Flags? So if at all possible, I would love to hear from you. Thanks. Off the the basement for the laundry.

Terry: No problem here. :cheer2: I appreciate all that you did to get this thing together. Thank you. :goodvibes

We will try and go to the CC Party. We finally made it to the last one.
RobinMarie.........thanks for the B-day thoughts. The party started at the pool at 11 AM, back to our house at 5:30 PM, all of the guests (except the one spending the night) left around 10:30 PM. At least it wasn't as hot as they are prediciting for the next few days here. So have fun planning at your house.
I know what you mean when you say it is the last even to get through until the cruise. I still have my best friend and family here until next weekend. Then there is a break. This summer is flying.
Tina....thanks for the B-day picture for Alli. I' ll show it to her when the family gets back from the baseball game. My DH won 4 Club level seats to an Orioles game with a trip to the broadcasting booth. Jim Palmer is one of the broadcasters who was a famous pitcher from the old days here in MD. I told him to take someone who would appreciate this afternoon (I'm a big soccer fan, not so hot on baseball anymore). So he, the kids, and his mom who is a big fan are there this afternoon. At least I'm in AC. :lmao: I'm enjoying my quiet time here in the house.
I get to make door signs and do some sewing for a very special person today, and hopefully for our family too. :teeth:
Good afternoon everyone.................

Hazel and I attended the CC reception during our January 2005 cruise and had a nice time. We had planned to go in May, but I was still feeling bad, and since my throat was so sore I decided to stay in the cabin and rest up for dinner. We are "planning" on attending the CC reception next month.
Shirley, I know what you mean about a quiet house. Hazel just took Angelina to her niece's house so she could do touch ups on Angelina's hair. I'm sitting here working on a project myself so that I can get it out in the mail this week!!!
