Now we can watch our own movies on the plane.

uhhhh Marielle, i drove up to Phila last year on Thanksgiving .... Took us over 4 hours just to make it to the delaware border. Took about another 2 hours to get to Dsis's house in NE Phila.

95 never again on Thanksgiving...... (cause that was with no accidents even)



This reminds me of a couple of years ago when we went to Williamsburg for Thanksgiving. 95 South from about Quantico, VA was a parking lot ALL the way, except for a momentary break around Richmond.

Thank you all for being quiet here this morning. :) I have been running errands and bringing the winter clothes in the house for me. I also got all of the outgrown kid's clothes pulled out & boxed up to take over to a friend's house next week. LOTS of boxes out of the garage!!! :)

The kids have been playing with the monorail since DH brought it into the house this morning. They set up all of the sweet streets & the Cinderella castle around it with the WDW plastic play mat in the middle. :)

Alex was in the hospital with croup and both John and I went. We took him in the middle of the night and he was admitted and finally fell asleep around 9:00Am. He was around 10 months old. The nurses said go home take a shower, he is so tired he will sleep a long time. We rushed home showered and went back, probably gone 1 -1 1/2 hours at most. Of course Alex had woke up and would not let anyone hold him for the first 20 min the nurse said. Then a male orderly happen to walk by and hear him screaming and he went in the room and started to talk to him and Alex stopped crying and let him hold him. The orderly happened to be a guy I went to high-school with..talk about a small world. When John and I got back, there was this big tough orderly holding this little baby who was just cooing away!!

Lots of people are switching to category 12s to save money. If you are linked with the DIS group for dining you HAVE to do this by Tuesday so that I can let DCL know who switched so that they can reconnect everyone. Some people have become unconnected with the change and a couple were put into late dining.

The kids were real troopers for their shots. Jake said "Ouch that really hurts me alot." I let him pick a plastic animal at A.C. Moore for his pain. Eliza didn't even flinch!!!!

I'm serious, Brandi! We were originally in 2647 I think it was. I was on the DCL site all day long checking for availability on deck 7. One Friday night around 10:15 pm one came up. I was PMing my DU agent & then IMd another one who would handle the legwork for the change. Since DCL was out for the day they couldn't do anything so I booked the room as a new resie and sent the info to Tammy. On Monday morning she called DCL, transferred 7007 to our original reservation so that we would keep the rate & early dining, and cancelled the 2nd booking. :woohoo: I was so relieved!

We had 7009 in January 2004 but have since moved back to the center of the ship ever since.

We really like aft. Of course, we've only cruised once before, but I thought we were in a great room (7114) -- right near the aft elevators (less busy) and a couple flights up from the kids club/shutters/restaurants and couple right down from topsiders and the drink station.

We picked 6118 because it's in the same position but one deck lower in a cat 6. If we were to get an upgrade, I might have to seriously consider turning it down if it isn't in the "right" location.

One of my DSisterILs wants to meet us after the cruise at WDW with her DD and DD's DS(4). So I booked a room next to us and bought tickets to MVMCP on the 19th for them. It is DD's and her DS's first visit to WDW (Newbies!). It will be fun.
