:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Sorry for laughing, but this is so FUNNY! DrHug is notorious for being late and we (family/friends) all joke that he will somehow manage to be late for his funeral! :lmao: Someone actually WAS! I have to make sure he sees this! :lmao:
Go ahead and laugh, DH did, FIL did, we all still do to this day. If it wasn't funny I wouldn't have posted it.
I understand that he did make it to his "final destination" eventually.
I always tell DH he will be late to his own funeral, just look at his Uncle!

Ok...here would be the situation.
- We tell her she has to stay home and help.
- Whining...
- Explain to her again, WHY she is staying home...
- More whining...maybe some tears.
- Explain to her that crimes have punishment.
- Tears....definite tears.
- Tell her to have a seat and grab some candy and get ready.
- Whining. Whimpering. Kicking. A fit is growing....sirens are going offf all over the county; people are heading for their basements.
- She gets up and tries to go inside...(we sit in the driveway - dogs in house) We get upset and tell her to come back.
- LOUD VOICES!
- Dogs run for cover.
- Doors slammed, whining gets to the point of eardrum damage.
- Dad threatens some more...costume is about to become history.
- More crying and screaming from DD
- Dad is about to reenact scenes from ANY horror movie for the passersby.
- Dad goes inside and the night is over for him....Mom's turn.
Your theory works well if she were to accept the plan...and her punishment in the first place. Chernobyl got nothing on this kid. :furious:
HHHMMMM. Remind you of someone WE know, DrHug?? :sad2:

oh no! DH just called....again, but the Outlawz are at the house....why do they just show up unannounced? I know there are much more trivial things in the world but it drives me insane. Maybe I should pick up two bottles of wine. And a bottle of Jack.
Tonight is a busy night, have to get home, celebrate and then get the girls ready for TOT'ing and then our block party. I am sorry to sound like a baby again but they were not invited to TOT with us. That sounds horrible and MEAN, but come on. They live 20 min away for most of the year and they can't be bothered with us unless they are crashing one of the few holidays.

I might be flying down a day early. I am on a waitlist for a studio at SSR (12/4) and can change my flight for $20 total. The money I would have spent on the overnight hotel in BUF I can use on my dinning planning for that day instead. Wish me luck, I know that there are more buildings opening up, so maybe good thing.

Happy Halloween all!!
I am so far behind on reading Again I am not even going to attempt to catch up so if there is anything important that I may have missed please let me know. Life has been busy as usual but it was great to chat with some of you on friday night. I can not believe I even got DH to come chat too. Btw sorry if he offend anyone....he likes to be a smart butt.
I hope everyone is doing good. I can not believe the time is going so fast. I packed Samantha already this past weekend since she is only here every other weekend and i needed to make sure I had everything I needed for her.
I also Started to tan already so I do not fry this time, hopefully this will help. Funny story for you about tanning. DH went tanning before our honeymoon and forgot to take his socks off....they just put in new bulbs and he fried to his ankles....wasnt that a smart move....lol
Take care all

Everyone must still be out trick or treating. We went out about 6:00. Allie and DH went back home about 6:20 and by 6:40 DS said he had enough candy and wanted to go home and pass out the candy at home. :)
DS loves to pass out the candy and I honestly think he prefers that to ToT'ing. He talks to everyone that comes to our door and he is quite funny .... and generous. He hands over two big handfuls of candy. :) One kid was dressed as "The Thing" from Fantastic Four and DS says "Here is some candy rock man". :rotfl:
Then I hear him say "Cool costume....if you see any power rangers let me know!" :lmao:
He loves seeing everyone's costumes and he is currently standing guard at the door just waiting for more ToT'ers.

Two men were walking home after a Halloween party and
decided to take a shortcut through the cemetery just for
laughs. Right in the middle of the cemetery they were
startled by a tap-tap-tapping noise coming from the misty
shadows.
Trembling with fear, they found an old man with a hammer and
chisel, chipping away at one of the headstones.
"Holy cow, Mister," one of them said after catching his
breath, "You scared us half to death -- we thought you were a
ghost! What are you doing working here so late at night?"
"Those fools!" the old man grumbled. "They misspelled my
name!"

Bad Parent Award -
I've never rented a stroller for DD.... Her first trip was at age 5. She did slow us down a little during rope drop a couple days but she quickly learned that when mom said go, we went.....
As Ty would say..... MOVE THAT KID.....
(On a side note...my feet do hurt really bad by the end of a day in the parks so it's not like it's go go go all day)
LOL! We take our own stroller. ;) DH & I tend to rush thru the park to get where we need to go. :rolleyes1 I confess to also like having somewhere to put all of our stuff. :) The kids have ended up taking a nap during the day in the park every time until last December....probably because John's DD was with them. In June they fell asleep after the night parade and stayed in the strollers thru the fireworks. The park didn't close for another hour so DH & I simply pushed them around and we hit a few more rides....taking turns watching them of course ;)...until it was time to leave.

Yes, so now the meth "cooks" get a prescription for each adult and each child, get enough to make a batch and then one month later repeat. That segment of society knows which doc to see to get a rx without question. One rx for each family member.
The thing that annoys me is that I can't get the OTC meds that I need for the kids unless the pharmacy is opened now. :( The people who are going to do this mess with them are going to get them no matter what. It is simply inconveniencing those of us who end up with sick kids in the middle of the night. :furious:

I hid some halloween candy away and she was warned not to touch it or there would be no trick or treatin'...the bag was ripped open.... :furious: Then she lied about it....and continues to deny it. she has a certain look and act to her when she's lying and I catch her all the time...she just doesn't know when to give up on the act and confess. <Vee Haff Vays of Making You Talk!>

My husband....
personally I don't think DD needs any cake tonight. She's had cake all weekend (and I took one to school today) but he's thinks it's her birthday she should have one. So he is making one. He called me to ask where the "beaters" are, um, we don't have any. I burned them up the last time I used them and tossed them. And no dear, this is not something I want to add to my birthday or christmas list.
I guess I will stop and pick up a couple cupcakes.....and make the man happy.
add wine and rum to that list as well V.
He is also using the POTC cardboard pumpkin bins to create some sort of pirate walkway to our door. I already envision the masking tape now. John has wonderful ideas but his craftiness is a bit lacking.
"Hey hun, where's the beaters?"
"I burned them up last time I used them Charming!"

I really want to read - honest I do but I am sooooo tired. I just realized this afternoon that DD has a birthday party I forgot about tomorrow. Halloween on a weekday is tough stuff. I'll look tomorrow.
Night all!
Let me know when those Oct navs show up please. Oh and I just went ahead and booked a car service. More money than renting but I just can't begin to think of the hassle. I don't feel like drop off/pick up just too tired. But..at least it is done. DD has her formal night dress so she and DH are all set except for shoes for DD. I am waiting because she is due for another sprout. SO all that is left is little ol' me.

DS loves to pass out the candy and I honestly think he prefers that to ToT'ing. He talks to everyone that comes to our door and he is quite funny .... and generous.
"They misspelled my
name!"

Are you saying my sweet daughter kept your children awake?????

It was so nice here this evening. My DH hooked a wagon up to the lawn tractor. He drove us all around the neighbor hood trick or treating.
Jake was so funny. After each house he would say...My bucket isn't full yet. The second his bucket was full he wanted to go home!!!! We still had a few more houses!!! My parents came to my house to hand out treats. Jake wanted to get home so he could dump out his bucket and show his Grammy what he got! He was so funny!

They do that in Tifton too. Kind of ToT/Hayride thing.
Jake sounds so cute!

our TOT was quite interesting. it finally stopped raining about 5:30. TOT was 6 to 8. DS goes over to a friends house, I stay at the friends house with their full grown boxer and hand out candy, DD hands out candy at our house, DH gets home about 6:30 and stays with DD, DS & I come back about 7:45 so that DS can go to neighbors' houses. Then we head over to FIL & MIL for FIL's birthday. Every year no matter if it is a school night or not we celebrate FIL's birthday on halloween. He isn't sure if he was born on the 31st because his birth certificate says the 30th but he has celebrated it on the 31st for as long as he can remember. It was a lot harder when the kids were younger. they would always be so tired after TOT and then have to go to grandparents house. over all the evening went well. DD had fun, DS had fun, Mom stayed dry & warm, and DH was able to relax while handing out candy.

Two young children, Jimmy and Susan, (who had never seen or eaten bananas) were on a train. Seated opposite them was a soldier who had just come back from duty in the tropics. He had in his lap a bunch of bananas.
Jimmy asked the soldier "What are those yellow things?" The soldier explained that they were bananas and asked the children if they would each like to have one. They eagerly said "yes". The soldier then showed them how to pull down the peel to get at the banana fruit.
Just as Jimmy and Susan took a bite of their banana, the train entered a dark tunnel and the carriage interior was pitch black.
Jimmy then cried out "Susan, don't take a bite out of yours. I've just gone blind."

Here are the words to the original Chiquita Banana theme song.
I'm Chiquita Banana, and I've come to say
Bananas have to ripen in a certain way.
And when they are flecked with brown and have a golden hue,
Bananas taste the best, and are the best for you.
You can put them in a salad. You can put them in a pie - aye.
Anyway you want to eat them it's impossible to beat them.
But bananas like the climate of the very, very tropical equator.
So you should never put bananas in the refrigerator.

I am spending my pre-cruise stay at WLV! It seems my waitlist came though some time after I talked to DVC this afternoon! So now i get to call and see if I can get the extra night at WLV instead of SSR.
Joy: I am having breakfast at CMC on Saturday morning, so will still board the hummerzine at your stop.

Are you at VWL, for now Angie? I am so lost, lol. I have submitted for new DME tags, really don't want my stuff heading to SSR and me to VWL.

ANGIE!
VWL for christmas, how can you pass it up. I know that OKW rooms are awesome, have stayed there the most trips so far, but a lodge decorated for the holidays, ahhh. I have the WL holiday background music on my iPod, I love listening to it. I so can't wait. Who needs a cruise upgrade, I am in DVC heaven.
