anyone know how I can copy/paste the WDW Photopass photos to this site? It says right click disabled.
We got some cute ones....I finally got around to looking at over the weekend.
After I answered your post I thought about it for awhile. I have posted some of my Photopass pictures before. I transfer mine to Photobucket and then copy the link into my post.
Here is one ....... I hope:

a review of the CC Island cruise....not too great.
Before I even read it I thought that our group CAN'T have a bad time together. :) I saw this at the end of her report...too bad the pictures don't come out.
Maybe with a larger more festive group it would be worth it

My son will be thrown out of the kids club... Now after using the bathroom, he comes running out with no underwear, no pants, no socks, no shoes. And he dances and says, "I have pants on!!"
Must be an emperor's new clothes kind of thing.
At least he remembers to wash his hands.

Let's mention some dates! This Sunday is a bad day (we're in Cumberland, MD for the day) but I'm in the Baltimore area mostly until the cruise. :grouphug:
Five Guys mini-meet mini-plans:
The 18th is bad here (or good.....DH's birthday). Saturdays are better than Sundays.
Which Five Guys?

I think it would be great if DCL did this. I hate going to Shutters...it is always so warm in there and it seemed no matter what time we went in there the place was crawling with people. I also happened to spend a fortune!
Jeez, just thinking about the crowds at Shutters gives me the chills. :sad2:

It is raining way too much here! They are talking flooding everywhere! Some of our bridges have closed. The Pineapple Express arrived from Hawaii over the last 3-4 days. :sad2: More rain on the way, but the next front is coming at us from the north, is colder and that is good news. It will move over us faster, not just sit over us and pour out buckets of water and it will push this warm, wet front on thru.
Goodness! Is it raining everywhere? It has been pouring here. I picked up the kids at the busstop so they wouldn't float away. No umbrellas allowed.

Having lunch with DD reminded us of a game we used to play when she was little.
It was with Teddy Grahams
All the little bears had something to say before they got eaten.
They were all happy to go so they said things like....
"Pick me! Pick me!"
"I wanna go next"
Or she would bite the head of of one and then it would say,
"Hey I need that, I'm goin' in after it!"
"Watch out tummy here I come!"
We could go on all day like that, it was so much fun.
:goodvibes Nice memories. :)

The rain has finally stopped...but still a dreary day. I am glad the polls are open until 7.
Amazing, we mentioned to my mom about spending the night over the Tgiving weekend so we could go to WDW....and somehow, it has turned into , "we are coming for Tgiving" and "she is watching the girls"....no we definitely won't be going over there.

News for the day
It's about 50 degrees today and raining all day.
My toes are cold and I can't get them warm because they got wet this morning.
DD has the day off (so she can vote? :confused3 )
She came to work with me today and is taking advantage of the high speed to do some homework and play on a penguin party website.
Did I mention that it's raining? YUK!
The great news is that DD and I are having fun together. We went to the grocery store before work to get breakfast, lunch, and snacks. She is sitting in my office and we are chatting and working. All this and I get to DIS too. Life is Goooooood! :thumbsup2

The night before the end of the cruise -- total mayhem.
They're open EARLY the day of departure (the only shop that IS open). Pretty much mayhem then, too.
I know there were times when they weren't as insane.....but, it seemed to always be when we were on our way to something and couldn't stop.

I have used a Mac and have actually set a new one up for someone that bought it. They just seem so foreign to me.
The new deal with it being able to run a Windows environment is an attempt to attract "old" PC users like me. Why buy something that imitates something? Buy the thing it is imitating!
I hear people tell me the Macs do graphics and music better. Maybe that is so but I have never had a problem with my PC's in this area. I have owned a PC since the old 8088 days (let's see who remembers that?) and will probably keep on as a PC addict.

Marielle - Don't worry about your DS. He will fit right in with my DS who wants to be a part nudist. The only clothes he wants to wear is underwear. When he gets home he immediately starts taking off clothes and within half an hour it is just underwear. That is how he wants to sleep as well. We have been at friend's houses before and he starts to strip right in their living rooms, etc.. He doesn't even think anything of it until I remind him he is not at HOME!
I need to get him to start wearing more clothes at home. I was thinking of some nice character lounge pants but I can't find them in his size just yet.

I need a parenting opinion...do you guys think I am being too hard on DS?
Today at school a little girl had her 5th birthday and she brought in a plastic flower that she had been given for her birthday. Sometime today Nathan destroyed the flower and it obviously broke the little girl's heart. He was put in time out and apologized at school but I think more needs to be done. DS has been "saving" money in his piggy bank to spend on the cruise. I told him that tonight after dinner when DH gets home that he was going to take some of the money out of his piggy bank, I was going to take him to the store and he was going to buy her a new flower to give to her tomorrow. DS looks really upset about the whole deal but I really feel like I need to make a stronger point here and having to spend "his" money and buy a replacement seemed like a good idea.
So what do you think? Appropriate punishment or too tough? He is 4 1/2 for those who might not know.
Thanks!

V - We got Nathan the Leapster (not V-Tech but Leapfrog) from Christmas last year and he really likes it. The games seem really fun and educational. It has been a nice introduction to "video games" without being just mindless stuff. I would definitely recommend it.

I have used a Mac and have actually set a new one up for someone that bought it. They just seem so foreign to me.
The new deal with it being able to run a Windows environment is an attempt to attract "old" PC users like me. Why buy something that imitates something? Buy the thing it is imitating!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:
The irony, the irony is killing me - I am in tears, ROFL, PIMP, the whole 9 yards.
My dear Brack, the PC and Windows is the imitator - you need to get a Mac if you want the original. If you are from the old PC days, you will remember DOS, when the PC was running DOS in 1984, the Mac was the first "WINDOW" computer. When the PC just had a keyboard, the Mac had a mouse! Microsoft is the imitator! Apple is the innovator!
Sorry Brack, but I know too many PC people who thought the Mac was a toy back in the day, and that they would NEVER use a thing like a mouse when they had their keyboard. Now they are on Windows XP. And Vista? If and when it is released will still be a step behind OSX.
Thanks for the irony Brack!

Thanks!
I think that is entirely appropriate for him. We both know that if he really wants something on the ship, mom & dad (or GM ;)) will buy it for him. It is the idea that he has to give up something that is HIS...even if it a few coins for a fake flower that he will remember.

Update on DS:
We took $5 out of his bank and went to the craft store where he picked out a very big pretty pink flower. It also had a little smaller pink flower attached to the same stem. DS made the comment that now she would have two flowers. He really did seem to feel sorry and it took him a while to pick out the flower he wanted. He seemed to be putting some thought into it although he was a little upset that they did not have the "exact" flower he tore up. I will take all of this as a good sign that he understands what he did was wrong and that he really was mean to this little girl. He will give it to her tomorrow morning when he gets to school. It costs him $2.68 - not a whole lot of money but I think just the act of taking his money to pay for it will make an impression on him.

I remember DOS very well. I may be one of the few people who can still maneuver in the DOS environment. I have even used it at least once this year.
Yes, I agree that Apple started the "Windows" look and Microsoft has a long history of taking other people's ideas to make their own products (MSDOS for one).
What I was referring to was the fact that the "Innovator" has to stoop to using their ability to run Windows to sell their product. Their new ads play like some of the political ads of this election; putting the competitor down not building themselves up.
The "best" product has not always become the industry standard (remember the Beta videotape machines?) and Windows may not be perfect but it is very good.
Apple should stick to what they sell best .... iPods! (innocently trying to pick on you here)

I saw her because of the aloof way she waved to the camera when they were announcing her name. When they went back to all five of them she was just looking around like she didn't need to hear what they said. She raised her hands in victory above her head and then...well she was just ugly. :( It made me miss Carrie's reaction because Faith's actions just seemed to overpower everything else. I saw her in concert opening for Reba with John Michael Montgomery in 1993 and have really enjoyed her music and the kind and gentle person that she appeared to be. Am I once removed too? My DF used to drive my mother to Buffalo at least once a month, to get a real chili hot dog. :lmao: .

He and my niece could become nudists together!!! She is a 4yo nudist wanna be!!!!
Jake has Disney pajama pants that he loves. He calls them his napping pants. I got them at the disney store.

Anyway, Brandi, your students need to learn this, too!

Thanks!
That is a perfect punishment. I think that will have a lasting effect. I would certainly go forward with it. You also have to remember my DH and I are both rather strict (I am a teacher you know.) Honestly, IMO...go for it. That is a perfect punishment.

There was one piece last spring that the violas had the melody... can't remember what it was... and the violins were annoyed about it.
She came downstairs excitedly playing for me and asked if I recognized what it was from... (she hadn't told me about it yet)... and of course I did not. Yeah, like you can recognize the POTC movie theme from the viola part alone... (well, maybe you could Brandi!)

Good Job Mama!!!!

Thanks for thinking of us V! Unfortunately Allie still loves to put everything in her mouth so I try not to give her things with small pieces. I keep hoping she will outgrow it soon but she shows no signs of slowing down. I blame it on her continued use of her binky at night but I haven't had the strength to get rid of it just yet. She usually does OK with crayons, etc.. for about 5 minutes and then she tries to eat them too so she usually ends up losing them (and has nice colorful teeth). :sad2: It is really something that I just have to make a judgment call on when I see what it is.
Don't feel like you can't bring special stuff to the table for your kids without including mine. I plan on bringing a few books and other toys too so hopefully everyone can stay entertained. I also hope we have good servers willing to entertain a little as well. :)

That I understand completely. Allie also feels that anything Nathan has is fair game for her and that is usually the source of some of our biggest fits. I disagree that he wont remember the lesson. That is said by the same people who think that a kid wont remember going to WDW until they are 6 or 7. ;) I was 3 when I slipped a pack of Necco waffers into my coat pocket at the store. We went to the shoe store next to buy a pair of school shoes. When I put one in my mouth my mother asked where I got them from & I said the store. We didn't get the shoes but went back to the store & I had to give them back to the manager & appologize. The manager said for me to keep them but my mother said that wouldn't teach me a lesson if I did. Now that I think about it...why didn't she pay for them since they were opened & could no longer be sold? :confused3 She could have made me work off the cost. I started cleaning the toilet at 5 or 6 and dusted before that so it could have been done. I will never understand them.

Well,
It is approaching 1:00, and we still do not have total results, but it appears we have a margin we will not overcome, and our levy will fail. It will be a sad day for our school district, which has done everything right, but I guess the voters are just tired of additional tax.
All field trips will remain cancelled
22-28 MORE teachers will need to be cut
busing will be extremely curtailed
Pay to Participate fees will rise by 50%
AND it will probably be impossible to maintain student achievement with the loss of those teachers.
It is a sad day for our district :sad2:

That is terrible news John. :grouphug: I still don't quite know what a levy is and what the difference is with how your distict pays for schooling as compared to ours, but cuts like that are crazy! Even if our budget fails to pass on a vote, there is no way anything that extreme could happen. I wonder if there were a lot of voters out that wouldn't normally be, and they didn't understand the consequences? Hope things somehow work out to the best of their abilities.

Is Shutters open really early or really late? I was wondering if maybe there might be a time when they are less crowded? :confused3
I don't know about really early, but I never saw them open very late. I usually don't buy many pictures since it is easy to take your own most of the time.

Hey! Did you see me today? I was wearing those exact crocs today!
:rotfl: I know Dina would let me know if Jake was in her class! Darn it, I forgot to go into that store that has them.

Actually there was some kind of drama unfolding at preschool. When I got there to pick up Dina, the teacher was outside talking with the parents. I only caught the tail end and it was basically about the incident reports that get filled out or anything and everything. But there was also a mom there who had seemed irritated at something that morning, and was still irritated laer. :confused3 I keep out of it. :rotfl:
Tomorrow is supposed to be a field trip to the Acme, but it is supposed to still be raining...

ROFL! :rotfl: That makes me think of the Tshirts that I bought for the kids at the 75% Target clearance from Halloween. DS's says "My sister's a witch." DD's says "My brother's a monster." :rotfl2: I figure that they can wear them year round. :rolleyes1
:lmao: Maybe you are the instigator! ;)

Actually, Slindamood really needs a ton of PD. :wizard: John, it is a similar situation to what you dealt with last year about a month out from the cruise. :(
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Suzanne and Sherman.

I hope you weren't disagreeing with me. I think the lesson will be remembered. I also think small kids remember Disney. Jake had just turned 2 before our last trip. He still talks about it!

I just checked MSNBC and I have news that will absolutely shock and amaze you. I just don't know who could see such a thing happening....I think it may be so unexpected that we all will not know what to do with ourselves. Are you ready?
Britney Spears has filed for DIVORCE! :faint: :faint: :faint:
What are we going to do with this new revelation? Didn't everyone just know they were meant to be together forever.... :rolleyes1
*sob* Couldn't you have *sniff* been a little more *sob* gentle with the news...
