We don't tell the teacher anything... Sophia tells her, hse already knows, the teacher brought it up at PT conferences and told us she knew because Sophia already told her. Nothing is ever a secret with that girl!
Amanda did the same thing. There was nothing that was going to stop her from telling everyone that she was going on a Mickey cruise!! :cool1: I did tell some of Sarah's teachers on BTSN. I needed to see if it would be a problem. She won't have conferences this year unless you request them. Ugh the big kid stuff!!

Morning Brandi! How are you today? I am just spending a few minutes here before I go dry my hair and get on with the day. I have to go back to the mall where I had the boys' pics taken Saturday... because I forgot my wallet so I couldn't order the pictures. argh. But I need to return a few things anyway. Then we've got gymnastics this afternoon. I love gymnastics because the boys get to jump around and work out their energy and I get to do nothing but talk to one of my good friends for an hour. It's bliss! Well almost bliss.. the stinky feet smell of the gymnasium is something I could do without. So what's your day looking like?

About 40 minutes if there is no traffic. It is right by the airport which is in a Southern suburb of Mpls/St Paul. I live in a Northern suburb on the far NW corner of Minneapolis, right on the edge of civilization basically. So we have to cross Minneapolis to get down there. There is also an Ikea there so it's well worth the trip!

DD's keep practicing singing different songs and talking about it, but then they both say there is no way they will sing on stage. I also thought about asking their piano teacher if she can find a duet they can play on the piano. Is there a piano available to play on though?? :confused3 Maybe you can find a Disney song for them Brandi!! :goodvibes

Tuesday is generally my stay home day. I dropped Jake at preschool. I am about to put Eliza in for a nap. I have laundry to do. Today I am getting things ready to upload to Ebay. I need to make some money ya know!!!
I don't even have to make dinner. We go to my mother's house every Tuesday. It will be nice. Tonight DH has consistory meeting. I bet DS will sleep over at Grammy's. He will ask (he does every Tuesday) with his sweet little puppy dog eyes and neither of us can refuse! It is funny how a little 3 year old can play ya!

I just added Dody's milestone to the site & was surprised by what I saw.
The thread started on 11/25/04.
10000 8/2/06
20000 9/4/06
30000 10/1/06
Here it is 10/16 and we just posted 38000!!!
8100 posts in 15 days = 540 posts per day.
15 more days to October x 540 = another 8100 posts so to 46200 by 10/31/06.
30 days in November x 540 = 16200 > 62400 by 11/30/06.
Even stopping on 12/6 for travel for most of us that is another 3240 posts.
Potential of reaching 65640 by cruise time!!!! :cool1:

It's close to my office, but I can pretend it is close to my house! We drove by today. Lots of awnings, tons of garbage trucks and rows of big dump trucks. They have those huge flashing signs up on the streets around that say Extreme Makeover in process slow down. They have metal barriers on both sides of the street for spectator area. They even have a spectator bus stop!

Our nephew provided a lock for a house they did in LA a couple of years ago. He got the call while we were all at DL that they wanted to use one of his locks, could he get it to them the next day??? He lives/works in Seattle area. He had his MIL go to the house, get one and overnight it to the hotel. He and his daughter drove it up to LA and she (13 YO at the time) got to HUG TY!!! Because of him his Mommy couldn't go on the cruise. His cohort cousin will be along soon. Because of her Her Mommy can't go cruisin' either. We're hoping she makes it here safe and sound too. MrsMork will tell you all about it. G'nite for now.

scrapbookers and romantics will appreciate this.. this gal is a partner or something at this Swedish scrapbooking website. Her boyfriend learned to scrapbook so he could make this page. He uploaded it to the site and waited for her to find it there:

Our nephew provided a lock for a house they did in LA a couple of years ago. He got the call while we were all at DL that they wanted to use one of his locks, could he get it to them the next day??? He lives/works in Seattle area. He had his MIL go to the house, get one and overnight it to the hotel. He and his daughter drove it up to LA and she (13 YO at the time) got to HUG TY!!! They also got T-****s. Very cool. It was for a little girl's "spy room" a couple of seasons ago.

Still searching for you, but here's a cute little Disney interview with the artist, Lou Bega:
http://disney.go.com/disneyrecords/Song-Albums/rdkidjams2/interview.html
And here's lyrics from an unofficial fan site:
One two three four five Everybody in the car so come on let's ride To the candy-store around the corner The boys say they want some ice-cream But I really don't wanna Let's dance till we all fall down We'll really party hearty to the mambo sound I like Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Daisy and As I continue the gang is goin' crazy So what can I do I really beg you my lord To me dancing is just like a sport Anything fly it's all good let me dump it Please send in the trumpet
Chorus A little bit of Minnie in my life A little bit of Mickey by her side A little bit of Donald's all I need A little bit of Daisy's what I see A little bit of Pluto in the sun Huey Dewey Louie can't go wrong A little bit of Goofy everyone! A little bit of him makes life so fun
Jump up and down and move it all around Shake your head to the sound Put your hands on the ground Take one step left and one step right One to the front and one to the side Clap your hands once and clap your hands twice And if it looks like this then you doin' it right
CHORUS I do all to fall in love with a girl like you `Cause you can't run, you can't hide You and me gonna touch the sky

I don't know about new but it's the only one I'm planning on.
and you guys, I just got back from the gym. I am in the locker room, took a shower and put on some lotion. Nothing outrageous - Coco Cabana from Bath and Body Works. The locker room was pretty dead and I hear "oh wow, did you just put on perfume" nope. lotion. She says "I am allergic to perfume, my throat swells up and that lotion has perfume in it" WTH? So they I go to spray hair spray and she says "you are not going to spray that in here are you?" I just looked at her, smiled very devilishly and said yes.
I can understand some overpowering perfumes and I think the BBW lotions are pretty strong right when you put them on, but come on. She was fully dressed - for work - and sitting in there watching a show, she could have left. She's in there everyday and this is the first I have heard her react to perfumes, etc.

Isn't it nice to have those "feel good shows" on TV? It never fails when I'm watching that show that I cry. My DSs are learning that helping others is a good thing...and it makes mommy cry.
Deal or No Deal was like that last night. The girl playing is from South Africa and she married an American. Her DH & a couple friends were supporting her. Later she said that she hoped to win at least 100000 to help her family in SA. At the end of the show Howie asked her what part of SA is was from because there were a couple people in the audience who were from SA. He had them stand up & they were her brothers! Howie then said that her mother was in SA because she just couldn't get away but they had some pictures of her. They showed a few pics of both of them together & then a shot of her mother dressed up. The picture ended up being a video and he told her to look to the right of the picture. The show had flown her entire family in to see her!!!! :thumbsup2

And at soccer practice the other week we were talking about the government changing the time change dates. I think in 2007 it goes to the first weekend in November.
Crazy huh? I found this...
On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.
It used to be:
Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the United States at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of April. Time reverts to standard time at 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.

Am I being the rude one?
So, did her throat swell shut? Did you do CPR? :confused3 She was watching a show in the locker room of a gym?? :confused3 You were not rude to use lotion and hairspray after a workout to get ready to go back to work. Oh, IMHO

John1 - when are you guys arriving - the 7th? Are you just planning on hanging out until the party that night? We could start some real DIS controversy and you could pool hop on over (just kidding). And everyone who is in Orlando before the cruise - did you all rent cars? Will there be a DIS -DCL or bust caravan on the way to the port?
V -
We are arriving LATE on the 5th. Staying that night at SSR - then over to OKW on the 6th. We're all in for pool hopping! :Pinkbounc
Renting a car too.
Ooooooh, can we find CJS flags for cars?

You know, I'm a bit embarrassed. He has been congested for a couple of weeks, mostly at night and not sleeping much. Not letting ME sleep much either and no pricing involved here! How could I forget all those restless nights. Sorry, Sweetie. :bitelip:
Sleep deprivation. ;)

OK ok, for all those wondering about DD she does have pinkeye :crazy2: and she handled her first dose of eye drops fine (she didn't know what it was). It took so long to get the medication that she didn't take a nap. She is going to be tired tonight. She is in a preaty good mood but still looks a little weepy.

Lisa!
Are you back from the haircut? Is it great?!
Yes I am happy with it but it doesn't look to good right now. The kids have finally settled down so I can post about what happened this afternoon. I usually sit here looking out the window waiting for the kids to come around the corner at 3:05. It was starting to rain so I decided to go pick them up but didn't want to get my hair messed up....she curled it & all...so I jumped in the van & parked at the corner. The bus came ... and turned the corner. I second guessed myself about the number & then decided that I was right & wanted my kids so I followed it. When I looked down I was going almost 35 in a 25 to catch up to it. It just kept going. It stopped once and a little girl got off so I knew that it was the elementary school, not the jr high so I followed it to the next stop. When it did I jumped out of the car & ran up to the driver's window. She couldn't open it but I yelled that my kids didn't get off at their stop. She pulled over to the side of the road and I got on the bus to claim my kids. By this time it was pouring rain. :( They were both in tears before we got off the bus. :( On the way home they told me that the kids thought that the driver was taking them back to the school because so may kids didn't get off the bus at their stops. I didn't know that so I went to our friend's house to let her know that her DD was still on the bus. She called the school but they don't have a cell phone number for that bus. It was a sub driving.
Tonight is the PTO meeting and I am going to talk to the principal beforehand. There is no excuse for any of this happening today!
- The regular assistant was on the bus so she should have told the driver when she needed to stop if she was missing them.
- While I appreciate that she was probably telling me to get on the bus due to the pouring rain, the driver should NEVER let anyone on the bus who is not authorized. Since the assistant knows me from school, IDK if they would have just handed over the kids without being able to verify that they were suppose to go with me. What if there were custody issues?
The bus isn't finished until after 4 so those poor kids who were suppose to get off at the first 5 stops ended up staying on the bus alot longer than they should have and many parents were probably very worried. I have explained this to the kids now and they know that I would be on the phone with the school if they are not home by 3:10 so noone would need to call me when they got back to the school. OY! I swear! What is it lately? You couldn't write all of this if you tried

It is shocking that they not only left you on the bus...but that they left the kids off anywhere other than their actual stop. I can't believe they let you just flag the bus down and get your kids.

:thumbsup2
Wasn't that sweet?? I saw a little of the show and as wonderful as it was, I can't imagine trying to make rational decisions after being hit with such an emotional surprise. Did they finish her game? I am wondering how she ended up. I saw part of another one last night too where the gal took the deal for like $100k or something, when in fact she had picked the $1mil suitcase. WOWSA!! I could never play that game because I would never take the deal. I always am genuinely surprised when I don't win the lottery.

Hi Brenda! What is the horse drawn ride? Give me the details! We can't squeeze in a whole lot before the cruise, we'll only have 1 1/2 days. But I think we are going back -- with the in-laws! -- next Spring for a land/sea or WDW only.
