Can someone explain "Bounce Back" to me? From what I have gathered by reading...it is when you book a return visit before you check out...is that correct? My questions are:
1. Does it have to be the same resort?
2. Is a discount offered?
3. If you book, can you change the dates if they don't work later?
If we have to book before we leave, I want to have time to plan out when would be the best time to return. And if a discount is offered, I may would want to upgrade resorts. Thanks in advance! :)

1. No it can be at a different resort. You can change later if they have that resort available under bounceback. You can change it when you get home if available. But you have to be at Disney to book it plus put down a deposit. The bounceback I got was for free dining from August 20th thru Sept 29th & it was extended later to book it into October. You can pick the time frame out then but can change it later as long as it falls into the guidelines. You will know what the discount is then & there so you have to decide if it is worth it. Usually it free dining or park hoppers plus water parks. Nothing off room when I WAS there. Just free dining. I have heard some was offered earlier this year but not sure what it was since I wasn't there. Hope this help out of course I am sure other will chime in as well;) Good luck. We got the Garden Suites at the BWI was going for 10 days as I wasn't sure of the dates(DH came down later that week but was fine with the days) & the CM said better to book more days & then take off when you talk to hubby. Good thing as when we got back 10 days was okay with his job but after Janaury came around they wanted him to travel overseas so we have to reduce it to 6 nights & he flies out the next day for the Middle East:sad1:

So bounceback wasn't a limited time offering? This is something that I will be able to take advantage of when I go in August?

It was for guest staying onsite for dates in September through Oct. 12th (I think). We booked before we checked out on Oct. 6th last year. After that, the bounceback was for room discounts I believe. That was the only time the Free Dining bounceback was offered. Disney is so crazy, you never know what bounceback, "if" there is one, that will be offered in the weeks and months to come. Keep your fingers crossed something good comes up. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping free dining will continue to be offered in the early fall and also that there will be a free dining bb promo this year when all of us are there for the 08 promo. I'd much rather have my plans in place vs. waiting until the following year in the hopes that the offer will come up again and I figure Disney would rather have my early deposit!---Kathy
