Well, the bags are packed and we're heading home tomorrow. Thanks again to all who gave such good advice prior to our trip.

For those heading down to the CBR for the week, I can tell you that I was over-run by cheap perfume, Britney Spears haircuts, and red toe-nail polish in the food court this evening. By the looks of the jackets and t-shirts, there's some sort of cheerleading function underway. If you're in your 40's and have a couple of kids, be advised. If you're 17 and have a cellphone and mom's room key, have fun!

Two years ago at the ASMu, on the last two days of our vacation we were also over-run by cute. Some sort on international cheerleading competition by not schools, mind you (who at least have something to cheer about), but clubs who apparently cheer for the sake of cheering. We have never seen so many top-knot curls and kerchiefs or heard so many complaints that there was absolutely nothing worth eating at the food court. My own 16 year old and her 15 year old friend (who cheer for their school) were truly amazed at this phenomenon(sp?).LOL

I saw them in Epcot yesterday STANDING on their heads so they could e-mail a snapshot of their feet to someone:rolleyes:  :D !

"Infestation" -- I like that! :D:D

It's so true - Cheerleading is LIFE!!! What are they going to do when they find out that one will pay them to jump up and down in little skirts...

..oh, wait, someone will... ...they may just not like it :)

I don't like cheerleaders, can ya tell? :) Actually just the dumb ones who scream at EVERYTHING! ("it's 1:30 - SQQQQUUUUEEEELLLL!!!")

chatty: Those cheerleaders were a hell of a lot of fun in the Jamaica private pool at about 11:20 pm yesterday. They can give a great back (he he) rub when they're in the mood ;)

Don't tell the wife; I think she's still asleep in 4521.

Do you know how long the cheerleaders will be there? I'm leaving for the CBR on Thursday the 28th. Hope they will be gone

They were also there in January and early Feb. I was staying at the All Star Music. A bunch boarded the bus from Epcot one night back to the hotel. The bus was jam packed and they started doing their cheers at the driver's request. It was really annoying having them yell in unison (in my ear) over and over again in a pitch black bus. Someone complained to the driver during the ride back because a small baby which the parents had just gotten to sleep had been terrified by the immense noise. Finally they stopped at their chaperone's request. I don't have a problem with chatting but the loudness of it all was too much.
