I usually go by Jen or Jenny. At work I use Jennifer because it's easier to hear. We yell a lot at work so if someone calls out 'Jennifer!' I know they are talking about me even if I only catch the last part. Not many people have names that end in 'fer'.

Since my first name's so uncommon, I don't even feel comfortable posting my middle name.

It's pronounced Mary Claire.
But my mom didn't want two separate names, or hyphenated, and didn't like the way "yc" looks in cursive:rolleyes:, so Mariclaire it was.

I'm actually pretty fond of it.
I've never met a person with the same name.
