Some good ones in there.
Haven't been to many, but had Tonga Toast at Kona cafe (very nice & sweet) - Bahama Breeze is definitely on our list again for this year.
I was also going to try and book Yachts Galley :thumbsup2
Sweet Tomatoes is also on my 'to do' list. Was on there last year as well:rotfl:
Is it me - but 3 weeks just seems to fly by & you never seem to have enough time to do everything. I think we try & do all that we liked & then add something new on as well. My DH says if I plan all 3 weeks it makes it go too quick:confused3
Enjoy all the eating - 3 weeks = 3 stone :rotfl2:

we had breakfast at the captains Grille yesterday... or wzs it the day before (I forget when i get back what day it is!)...
anyway.. food was ok... service was ABSOLUTELY the worst service ever had at a disney restaurant. Servers were lovely... but seemed totally incompetent. I certainly wouldnt go back. I assume also that is the reason that it was completely empty and cape may was packed!
Kona Cafe food was good.. but extremely uncomfortable chairs! and slower service than i would have liked......

Grand floridian cafe
Hmmm. Just OK, in my opinion. In what circumstances are you considering eating here?
Turf bar and grill
Now, Paul, you know I don't believe you haven't already eaten here! I really like it, but not convinced I would make the trip if I wasn't staying at SSR.
Kona cafe (polynesan hotel)
A good diversion from the MK for lunch. Don't think I would make the trip for dinner even though the menu is undoubtedly better.
Yacht`s galley now called Captain`s grill (yacht and beach club)
Can't help you with this. For a casual meal, we love the Crew's Cup Lounge (next to Yachtman's Steakshouse).
Raglin road
Mixed feelings about this, but again I don't believe you haven't already done this! :rolleyes1 It's expensive for what it is and some of the dishes miss the mark, but I still love it and recommend sitting at the bar for the entire evening and ordering appetisers.
House of blues
We've eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and I would neither rave about it nor slate it. In January, however, we wandered across from SSR during our first evening and sat at the bar. The food wasn't stellar, but the experience was top notch. It's all about the time and the place - you get that!
Off site
Outback
Rubbish. Can't even be bothered to elaborate.
Texas de brazil
Good, but expensive. Sign up for the specials and go if you can get a good discount. Don't be tempted to fill up too much on the (admittedly superb) salads/starters bar or you'll miss the entire point. Good value if you're a meat lover and get a discount. Definitely worth giving a go.
Orlando alehouse
Love, love, lo-o-o-o-o-ove, the Orlando Alehouse. Good, cheap fayre with a "local" vibe. They do amazing deals on draft beer. Your "home" location at LBV is a quick 5 minute drive from SSR. :thumbsup2
Baharma breeze
Hate this. Actually, that's not entirely true. Great vibe, but ridiculously busy. Dreadful food.
Smokey bones
Not done this. Willing to be persuaded. :teeth:
Hard rock cafe
An all time favourite. Good, safe food. Incredible theming. A no-brainer.
Mannys chophouse
See Smokey Bones.
Bubbas Bodacious barberque
Ditto. Gets rave reviews. Even Scott Josesph (unbelievably hard-to-please restaurant critic of Orlando Sentinel fame) doesn't slate it
Chiles
Sorry, no idea.
lunch times:
Earl of sandwitch
Excellent! Great lunch option. The sandwiches are the crowning glory, IMHO. The salads just loo like so many other WDW counter service offerings.
Chickafill
Really?
sweet tomatos
Never tried it, but sounds fab.
cokes of dublin
Surprisingly good. I don't really do 'fish and chips" here. Actually, I don't do them at all! :rotfl: Again, great for a lunch option - top quality.

Can't help you with many things on your list but would really recommend Sweet Tomatoes - we went twice when we were in Orlando last - it was great - lots of different selections (I love salad things but HATE preparing it - it's great when someone else puts everything together). Would not hesitate to go back again.
Looking forward to trying Turf Bar and Grill when we go to SSR in October - will post opinions then!

Paul,
We were at Manny's last night...... you must make the effort and go.... we had a fantastic meal, but it was 'heaving' all night!!
We also go to TGI's every time we come out, as we also have great food there too!! Just eaten at the TGI's up at Mall at the Millennia... nice and quiet... and the Brownie was to die for !!!!

Just a few experiences here but hope they're helpful!
Kona cafe (polynesan hotel) Very good, excellent quality food and a varied selection.
Earl of sandwitch: Good sandwiches, we preferred WPE in DTD but I would eat at either place again.
sweet tomatos: Excellent, my salad-hating bf loved it and it's so cheap for the quality of the food.

I like the Grand Floridian Cafe, but i eat there when i'm staying at the GF.
A much better dinner experience can be had at Citricos - also at the GF.
It's our favorite restaurant at WDW. The food and service has always been excellent when we've been there (most recently, this past November).
The only other restaurants on your list that i've eaten at are Earl of Sandwich and Sweet Tomatoes, both of which we love.
Sweet Tomatoes is our favorite offsite restaurant.

Raglan Road is Awsome! The fish and chips are better than the chippie that i live next door to and the beef and guiness stew is very delicious even though i'm not that keen on beef.

Sweet Tomatoes is our favorite offsite restaurant.
ST is so weird, Its based around salad, its not the fanciest of places, and its always busy. Its everything I would not look for when eating on holiday but we love it. For about £4.50 (£2.25 with Buy one get one free:thumbsup2 ) it has to be the best value place in Orlando.
We love Bahama Breeze :thumbsup2 , the onion rings are fab!!, we ate there on our last day on the way to the airport:sad2:

I believe its on their website, http://www.fishbowl.com/clt/tdb/lp/join/join.asp For other Fishbowl offers you have to fill in your date of birth as the day you travel. They then send you buy one get one free voucher for your Birthday. I presume TDB is the same

when DD and i were at WDW for 9 days in november, we ate at ST 4 times...
every time DD said the same thing - how do they make a profit?
looking around at the way people were packing in the food, it is hard to figure out...
