I keep m carts in their boxes and 7 boxes fit inside a card board photo box. Those sit on my bookcase. The tools are in my tool bag.
Rumor has it that Provo Craft is coming up with a binder system so I might get that eventually.

Ditto with Buffy. I have seen some people mention they store it in snapware containers. The carts in one part and the keypads and booklets in another part, but I like looking at the back of the box to see if there is something that I need.

By card board photobox- do you mean the ones you can buy at Michaels that have lids? I like this idea- sounds organized and pretty- just the way I like it!

those are the ones. I have 3 for carts and in the back of the third is where I store the power supply. I bought some really pretty brown ones and blue and brown. So cute!

CM makes pods containers that are now in clearance.
The med. one holds 22 cartridges in original boxes.

For those with the little bug, A medium pod will hold the bug & the mats.

This is sort of a diversion from the OT, but. . .

I just got the Indie Art cartridge and it didn't come with a box, it was packaged in plastic. Is this the way all new cartridges are going to be packaged? I love how nicely the boxes fit on my shelf! Right now, I put the single, non-boxed cartridge in one of the other boxes, but I have a feeling this will be an issue for me in the future.

I heard that it was just the mini carts that were not going to be in boxes, but I think it could be a rumor. If you really want a box check out the cricut message boards. www.cricut.com There are some ladies who don't use the boxes so you might be able to find one there.

I heard they are going to a binder system but I didn't see anything solid about it after Winter CHA, hopefully it will come out in the summer. Most of the new releases with the exception of Pooh are not full carts. Those are the ones that are supposedly with out boxes. I wonder if it was a test run to see how people reacted.

I don't like the new packaging at all, I like my boxes!! LOL But I would be willing to have a binder, just look at my bookcase. 90% of my embellies are in binders.

my punches are in the boxes too, not real happy with it but it works for now. My stamps are in one of the drawers in the black iris cart next to the bookcase.

I'm with you on that! Even though I'm new to this, the one thing I really like was the way these cartridges were package- in their own little box. I like to see my things out and these boxes leaned that way. I hope it's juts an experiment and they go back to the original way they package everything.

I gave my sizzix to Party of 3, I didn't use them since getting the cricut.
I did keep my sizzix machine and a few big dies, also in one of the boxes. They stand up sideways in the box.

Sure I'll come organize your room!!! All my stuff is in a breakfast nook in the kitchen, I would have a blast in a whole room!

I pulled my slabs apart and sorted by theme, color, etc. I have ROY G BIV for color, seasons, holidays, kids, travel, and all the name brand papers like the Basic Grey lines are in 1 Cropper hopper.

ETA - The pic - The peg board would be easy, if you can't find white you can just paint it. The shelves are pretty standard looking too. That would be a pretty easy room to do.

Right now my Cricut carts and the Cricut are on the floor of my scrap room. I recently reorganized my room with cubes from AC Moore and it was perfect...... then the Cricut E came. (Just 2 weeks ago) Now I have to rethink my plan. I had an extra little table in the room, but took it out because the only purpose it served was allowing me to pile it up with junk. I guess the table will have to come back in now. I think I'm going to put my carts in a basket, but I do like your idea, B&B, of using a photo box.

I wish I could find those cubes you're talking about. We don't have an ACMoore by us- and I've been looking for reasonably priced cubes for a long time!

My sister-in-law and I were trying to order these last night. She couldn't find them on the Consultant website.

They were listed on the website at $14.25, kind of high for me.

It sure would be a great way to store my cricut. She is asking her upline for help.

That room is adorable. That Paper rack is huge! I scrap at my kitchen table right now. I need to organize my space in our office and utilize the shelves in here. I love the ideas and pictures. Anyone else have any suggestions for organizing?

I thought about buying some of the new making memories plastic bottles for my brads but they seem like it would be hard to take to a crop in the big bottles.

I do ! I do!!!!

I just got finished organizing my craft/sewing room- here are some pics:

This is what I have attached to the wall- it keeps all my little embellishments of sorts in it. I bought the spice rack and jars at World Market. As you can tell, I also put glitter/embossing powder on a rack and didn't have to buy jars for those- they fit 2 deep just fine. Old canning jars with the cute glass lids also make for really cute and functional containers for things like buttons, brads, ribbon etc. and they fancy up the room too!

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b52/karebear1or/IMG_5381.jpg

This is a pic of the inside of the closet in my craft room. I do a lot of sewing and scraping- and I needed someplace to put all that fabric- so I made mini bolts and put the fabric on these. It worked out great. The other side has all my papers etc. stacked. What I like about using the wire cubes is you can arrange the shelves to any height you like, allowing for light boxes etc. See that blue box on the top there? That has alot of my ribbons rolled into it- holds a ton of them too!

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b52/karebear1or/IMG_5378.jpg

And last but not least, this is a pic of the overall corner of my room. I bought these tables on clearance at Target and put them into a u-shape for my work area. It works out really well.

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b52/karebear1or/IMG_5376.jpg

Hope that helps you some. If you're looking for matchy matchy-I'd definetly go to World Market and look into those jars and rack though. They have tons of glass jars etc. there that would really be useful in storing craft items. Otherwise, using jars you have around the house work just as well!
