Docking times changed on final payment confirmation. I'm confused.

I just got the confirmation of my final payment for our 4-day Wonder cruise in May. What troubles me is that the docking times have all changed. Our original confirmation had us docking in Nassau at 9:15am, Freeport at 7:30am, CC at 7am and Port Canaveral at 6am. My new confirmation has docking times as: Nassau at 9:30am, Freeport at 8:30am, CC at 8:30am and Port Canaveral at 8:30am. This confuses me. I thought we were supposed to be off the ship very early when back in port? I have already made excursion ressies in Freeport (on my own...which won't be effected by the time change) and flight arrangements when we return. Our flight will leave out of Orlando at 12:10. Will we still be able to make that flight? (I just made the ressies yesterday, wouldn't you know it!) Also, by not docking until 8:30am on CC, we'll have a shorter time to enjoy everything there. How long does it take after docking for disembarktion to begin?

I don't recall anyone ever talking about docking at CC any earlier than 8:15, though I could be wrong. The day at CC is really short, starting around 8:30-9, don't plan on being able to get off any earlier than that. The docking times in port vary depending upon the "slots" available. It works a little like an airport--on one ship can dock at a time--safety reasons, worker reasons, security reasons. You still get to most ports early enough to get to where you need to go. Times will vary even on the ship from what has been announced.

I've never heard of the Wonder having to wait for a slot at Port Canaveral! To be docking at 8:30 when they expect everyone off by 9am seems a little strange. The original schedule was to dock at 6am. Why would they be docking 2 1/2 hrs later? I just don't get it.

Oh well. I'm sure everything will work out fine.
