On Wednesday, April 9th I witnessed the family winning the Cinderella Castle Suite prize. We were on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at 11:15AM. We were pulling up to the unloading dock and we witnessed a family in the boat in front of us, who just got off, get pulled aside by 3 dream squad members and another Disney cast member in a plaid vest. When we got off us and several other guests on our boat began to huddle around the scene. We watched the family get introduced to all the dream team cast members. One of the Dream Cast members told us to move along so I wasn't exactly sure if they had won the castle stay. We watched the 3:00PM parade that day and saw the same family in the Cinderella Castle Suite Winners car before the parade came through which confirmed they were indeed the winners.

To be honest I never thought we would be so close to winning that prize. There are so many attractions within the parks and Downtown Disney and to think we were so close amazed me. The family that won was a family of 4 from Georgia. They appeared to be a very deserving family.

How fun- I can't decied if I would just stay inside the suite the whole time or walk around the park telling everyone "WooHoo I get to sleep in the Castle!!" :cool1:

I finally put the link to our trip report in my siggy. We won the castle suite on the very last day of our vacation so it is towards the end of the trippie:goodvibes

We were lucky to be able to stay in the Castle Suite almost a year ago.
