when do you receive written confirmation?

I can view my confirmation number at the dvc member site, but have yet to receive written confirmation through the mail. Res was made 4 mos ago and still have 4 mos 'til vacation time.

They usually come via mail in 7-10 days after ressie made. You can view your confirmed ressie at DVC website. Have a great trip:goodvibes

Generally, I get the written confirmation within a month from when I make the reservation. They do say 7-10 days. But I have yet to get it within that time frame.

In the past, I would get it within 2-3 weeks. But for the last couple of years I would have to admit it has taken longer. There was also a time when I changed my reservation and I never did get a confirmation letter for the change. I do however always keep the confirmation number just in case.

If you are a little worried, I would suggest printing out the vacation page on the website and making sure you have the correct confirmation number on it.

also, if you are using ME, the boarding passes and luggage tags come about a month before your trip......just got ours today in the mail--yipeeee!

We've always gotten our confirmations within 2-3 weeks.

However, a few months ago there was a thread complaining about extensive delays (with regular ressies, not developer points ressies which take a long time). In that thread, I was surprised by the number of owners who said they have never received confirmation letters. If it was one person, I would not have paid much attention, but it was several families.

I made a reservation two weeks ago and had written confirmation 4 days later.
