Can't decide between the POR or the Swan. I can get similar rates for both. I've stayed in the Swan before, but not the POR. Traveling with two older teens and an 8 year old in Aug. Same roll-away fee for Swan? Any other suggestions? Does the WL do 5's?

The WL deluxe rooms sleep 6 and have a mini fridge in the room already

The set up is 2 queen beds and a sofa bed in another room. Here is the layout of the room http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/waltdisneyworld/resorts/rooms/roomindex?id=WILDRoomLayout2Room

I think the Swan has 2 queen beds - POR only has 2 double beds and under the bed. Plus the Swan is within walking distance to Epcot/Studios - POR will be bus transportation only

Here's some food for thought...you don't get room charge priveleges at the parks and WDW restaurants if you are staying at the Swan. If your older two will be spending time on their own, and you want them to be able to charge back to the room rather than carrying cash, you'll want to stay at the POR.

My 16 year old is starting to spend time without us, and has shown responsibility with the room charge (Dire warnings have helped ;) ) so it's nice that he can have dinner on his own and I don't have to worry about him losing cash. I punch a hole in his room card and he wears it on a lanyard around his neck :)

I would say the Swan for a few reasons. First the health club the older teens would like that as well as the game room. Then there is the issue of the queen, more room for growing boys. Then the fact that you are within walking distance of two parks, and the Entertainment complex at the Boardwalk. JMHO...the kids would be happier in the middle of all the action. You 8 yr old will love the pool and the game room too. And stop at the soda fountain at the Dolphin, the waiters and waitresses dance to 50's music once an hour, and they have great shakes and sundaes!

Oh and you have the Disney Card, you get 20% off at all the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin. The kids can charge back to the room anything at either hotel, but not the parks, they do deliever purchases though.
