How much money do I need for WDW?

It's just me and my 10 ds - I was thinking about $100 a day. Do you think that's enough? We have a couple of character breakfasts scheduled, and we don't get big ticket souvenirs. Usually just shot glasses and pins. We'll be there 7 days - is $1,000 is enough?

I think that will be plenty--you may even be able to splurge on a special treat on your last day!

I budget $100 a day for two people as well. If that's what you bring, it WILL be enough. Some days we go over if we eat sit down meals with all the trimmings and then go out for breakfast too. Other days we eat in the room in the morning and counter service the rest of the day. It always works out ok.

It really depends on how you like to eat, but it certainly is do-able for what you have budgeted.

During your travels, check out the menus posted outside every restauant, including counter service, and you'll get a good idea of the prices, etc. That should help you plan.

Last November when we went I brought $200.00 a day for a family of 4, me, DH, DD (17) and DS(3). We were there for 9 days and we came home with $500.00. This year were doing the same I would rather come home with some then not have enough. You should be fine with that amount. Michelle

I assume that you will already have purchased park tickets, so that you're not including the money for that in this budget?
