FL Seasonal Pass and DDP

I've read that you can now add the dining plan to your stay if you have an annual pass. But can you add it if you have the Florida residents seasonal pass?

The answer should be yes. Seasonal passholders get the same perk as the regular AP-holders with the exception of free parking. We have SP and got the AP rate for our last stay with no problem. I registered through the Disney website as a passholder and got the recent email stating that passholders could now book the DDP with their room-only reservation. So I say yes, although I haven't tried it personally yet.

We have Season Passes and booked the Dining Plan and switched this morning to the Free Dining (of course we had to buy a base ticket to do that, but it never expires and we can use it towards our renewal).
