What do these do, anyone use them before.

I am so Cricut obsessed, even though I have not talked my hubby into buying me one yet. The sale at Micheals ends in 3 days, what's a girl to do?:confused3

Are you talking about those colored pen thingies? If so, you put it in in place of a blade and it draws the shape/font rather than cut it. I don't have them but maybe someone eles on here does and can let you know how they like it.

yep, you take the blade housing in, draw the image, take the marker out and put the blade housing back in (be careful you don't move the motor) push load page, repeat last, and cut. You will get an edge of color where you cut. There are instructions for speed and pressure on the side of the pen, but remember to reset your pressure when you get ready to cut, especially on cardstock.

Sometimes I miss the point on these kinds of things. And then someone will do something totally cool and I'll AAAHHH okay that's really cool. So what I'm wondering is, why would I want to draw an outline of a cut? I'm all about my Cricut, but I confess I'm just not getting it yet on this one.

The marker also draws the internal lines. SO on paperdolls, for example, it highlights the creases in the skirts and such.

I don't have them but yesterday I wanted them. I find that I am often wasting my blades and paper on a practice cut when I am not sure about size. Especially with paper doll accesories. If I had the markes, I could draw the shape on scrap paper to check the size.

I was thinking about buying these but I'd like to see what it can do before i spend the money. Does anyone have any pictures of a project or know where I can find some?
