Actually DM, at that moment (9:42am mountain) we were standing on Main St...... on the rope (of course :cool2: ).....as Alec & the CM were having a contest of balancing quarters on the back of their elbows (with their closed fist next to their ear) seeing who could whip their elbow down & catch the quarters. (kids behind us were asking their parents for quarters :lmao: ) Had 18 minutes till the rope was to be dropped.

The nice family next to us were studying their ridemax sheet & trying to figure out how to get to PP first (always first) & then to Dumbo - guess who told them where to go...& how quickly (purposefully) to walk. :hippie:

Interesting that you mention that. A woman & little girl (Alec's age) who were ALSO riding Big Thunder multiple times on Monday (at 10amish) told us THEY got dreamed there 10 min. earlier. (Alec & I probably blew right by them as we were racing around for another walk-on to "the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness" ).

The woman gave us her Screamin' FPs off the dream pass (which is how i kind of... sort of... forced (encouraged) Alec to ride it...being the positive, supportive, motivational parent that i am.....that & i bribed him with a churro )

Beth--there's a thread on the general Disneyland board. I was actually supposed to be staying at the DLH tonight (and tomorrow) but had to cancel because I've been so sick. (Disney was nice enough not to charge me even though I canceled within the three-day window. I'm sure they looked at my account and saw how much money I've already spent this year and how much I plan to spend--LOL).

Anyway, about the suicide--it is very sad. And actually I'm sadder for the people who might have witnessed it (it happened mid-day) . . . is that wrong?

Thanks, I did see that. I don't think it's wrong what you said. Suicide is always harder on those left behind. And hopefully no one innocent who was just there on vacation was tramautized by it. :(
