Free Dining?

Hello all,

I'm a new member to DVC so, go easy on me if this is a basic question. I noticed a nice incentive of free dining with a magic your way package on the DIS main boards for this fall. Can a DVC member get in on this? Meaning, can we stay on our DVC points and purchase a magic your way pass and get free dining?

I'm suspecting we can only get in on the "deal" if we book a room reservation also but, thought I would ask the "experts". :)

You would need to book a full magic your way package, including hotel room at rack rate in order to take advantage of this promo. So no, it doesn't work for DVC members staying on points.

I assume that means you can also not get free dining as a DVC member paying cash because of the DVC discount? Thanks!

That is correct. Member Services can not book free dining at all, cash or points. It must be booked through WDW Travel/CRO as part of a package.

Free dining is with the purchase of a MYW room package, not just the MYW tickets. Some people have the misconception that the dining goes with the tickets, it goes with the room package.
