okay, im opt to spend lots of money but dont want to on this ship. Please tell me what i can look forward to getting inexpensive on the island and whats a waste of money. Are their items i can only get on the islands? I know al the shoppers can really help me out..Im looking forward to the replies...amy

I would wait and buy most of my souvies in St Maarten. You can even get really inexpensive tropical night clothing there. We cought great beach towels there for around $5 and they are going on their 3rd summer (we have a pool and also live on Panama City Beach). the 3 for $5 shirts shrink but the embroidered ones actually hold up and they aren't but a couple of $ more. We also bought really nice beach tote bags for friends and they love them! Liquor is also cheap here.

You will still want to shop on the boat- but I would set a limit per child and basicaly once it is gone- it is gone. If they buy something on the ship- you can return it if it is unused.

Good luck- unfortunatly my spending has gone up with each trip that my family has taken!
