Well done Mazzy, no noticable change for me this week , but a couple of nights out with clients may account for that. I started my treatment for an underactive thyroid on Wednesday so hopefully that will start kicking in fairly soon.

Nothing lost this week - was not too good earlier in the week as I was a bit fed up with the weather - sunny today so renewed efforts :bounce:

Hi everyone,
Not a great deal to report - weighed myself at the gym this morning and seemed to have lost a Kilo (2.2lbs) but it could be an inaccurate machine as my training this week has been seriously hampered by some torn leg muscles. Have to grit my teeth to get through the pain barrier:( but it seems to be (slowly) getting better (at least I managed a 20 minute run this morning ad 60 inutes non-impact work).

Bad week this week!!
Put on 2 1/2 lbs (oh dear - but I did enjoy the extra large deeppan pizza with all the toppings - the night before the weigh in!!)

Vernon, how long have you had the underactive thyroid diagnosis and what were your symptoms? Whenever I come across an article about the disorder I always read it hoping that I will find the reason for my being overweight (and thus a magical 'cure'). Wishful thinking, of course! However, I read an article recently and I have about 6 of the 8 symptons mentioned. It said to take your temperature first thing each morning for 3 days and if it's consistently lower than 35.6 (I think) then you should consult your Doctor.

Not good :(
Put on about a couple of pounds as I'm getting bored with this game!
However.....I am back in my old jeans and the belt is down one notch...
So....how do I get motivated to keep going and not slip back? - food and drink is getting real dull at the moment.
