Oh where, Oh where to start. I guess you should know that I am married to a Disney fanatic. And he is dying for this trip since we missed our annual trip last year. Oh the horror, That’s right he has not been to Disney in over 12 months what madness. I am an absolute Disney lover as well, but I do see the benefit of letting our children see other parts of the world. My husband opinion is “isn’t the world showcase good enough.
But anyways I digress. This trip will include My dh Jason (30), myself (29), my ds Elijah (7), and my ds2 as we call him “the” George (3).
We started planning in trip the second our Disney themed Christmas Decorations were down. Right off we knew we wanted to aim for Orlando’s Gay Days. Not that we are necessarily for or against the event . We just know from prior experience the crowd level would be down. And we have met some really nice and funny gay people and they didn’t even bite. Lol The only big debate would be which resort. Our goal is to stay at all the resorts. Don’t laugh we take are Disney planning very serious. And just in case you are wondering I am well aware that we are huge Disney geeks. We had already excluded CSR, POR, ASMU, and ASMO, since we had already been to those. It looked liked it was between POP and POFQ. Right as we thought we had it all the figured out, the unexpected happened. All I have to say is what goes with Presidential Elections and planning a Disney trip?
Everyone who knows my husband and I knows that every time there’s a presidential election and we are planning a trip, we have a baby. As in 2000 and 2004. So to keep true to form we found out that I am expecting #3 in October. I decided to move our trip up. And as you can imagine I had absolutely no problem talking my DH into it.
So after studying our family calendar. I decided upon April 11th-22nd. The only problem was that was that was only 47 short days away. We had to set our disney planning in to over drive. Can we do it? Oh and I promise I will post a ton of pictures once my husband gets home and I make show me how. I admit I am lazy. I could figure it out on my own but I like him thinking I am helpless.;)
