I wonder if they will have any more codes for June. CSR has no availability for the first two weeks for more than 2 days.
ASMv only has preferred views.

Oh man, I guess I'd better go ahead and book my room at AKL then to make sure I get a room. Will they just apply the code when I call and tell them I have one?

I've been calling daily as well - the disney reservationist told me that they have hundreds of codes, it just a shame that we can't find out what they are!!!

I'm trying to patiently wait for codes for September, but the suspense is taking its toll. C'mon Disney, send out the codes!!!

When I checked the disney club site yesterday, they said that summer special rates will be out on April 1st - a week prior for DC members than general public. (These codes for spring were the same as the C codes and Z codes listed on mousesavers.com.) I'm guessing that the springs codes were so successful in getting guests to increase visits that they'll have some good deals for summer too.

missymj......
Before all the last set of codes came out, or rather started to become public!.......I was calling almost every day too.
And the CRO stated there are "thousands" of different discounts and codes. And she insisted that I have the code in order for her to check.
So I am thinking maybe we had the same CRO then and now!;)
Anyway, that is a clue that they may be coming out soon.
Also, I was told then......she couldn't look anything up without a code. Well, I soon found out that it is matter of keep on trying til you get a CM that is knowledgable about the rates and discounts because I found one CM that knew them all and checked them all for me without me stating each one to her.
ps...I am still looking for something a little better for the Poly in June so I am looking for codes too.
Good Luck!!:)

LAinSEA, where on the DC site did you see that the summer rates would be out April 1st????
I've looked and could not find anything saying anything about summer rates???
Help.
I am a DC member and it would be nice for once to really see them give us some kind of GOOD deal.....not just a silly 10 or 15%
Never mind ....I just found it....

There are no new codes out yet....as far as I know.
But if you go to the DC web site......
sign in, then from the DC home page, click on "New Offers".
Then click on "One Magical Moment".
This brings up the page that says to check back on Apri 1st. :D
Boy I am hoping that this time the DC will come through for us and give us a great opportunity!!!! I can dream can't I !;)

Sorry Cindyfan and others...I got a little busy at work this week -
but it looks like you found the "check back on April 1st"...I just talked my Dad out of booking a late planned trip for spring break...it would have been my parents' first time to WDW and he missed the specials for spring - I said to wait for summer as they both work in education and summer can't be as crazy as spring break! They got a great deal with DC on a quick trip to Disneyland early March with the granddaughters.
I was all set to get an AP and use that for booking our May trip - but found that the springs codes were a much better deal and DC discount applied on top of the codes...saved over $1,000 from the "website rack rates" and we got airfare on Delta for $175 rt pp from Seattle!
After waitint and waiting and waiting for the May hours to be announced - I guess knowing that codes will come out on April 1st isn't too bad.
happy planning!

LAinSea, My DD is a teacher and that is why we all decided on June. We are going (DH, 11 yo DD and me) the day after the students get out.
My DD who's a teacher is coming the Monday after, she has to clean out the classroom:rolleyes:
Anyway. She got the teacher's rate at Swan/Dolphin. Offered to get another room for us. But we opted for CBR and to try to get a good rate at Poly.
Wish us luck!! ;)
Question for you though.....
What did you mean "....DC discount applied on top of the codes."??????
Thanks.

Along with the C and Z codes - available to the general public, there was a DC discount on the UPH tickets, the Discovery Magic package, and car rental from National.
So the room (AKL savannah view) was $205 per night with the code, the discovery magic package comes with the UPH tickets and the CM gave me a $40 discount on the UPH tickets and some percentage on the discovery magic package...I can't find my notes on exactly what I figured the percentage to be but from what the WDW website was quoting and what we actually paid we saved over $1,000.
Not bad for $29.00 membership for DC! and I like getting the magazine and the flyers in the mail.
My parents are last minute planners...works OK for a quick trip to Southern California - but I'm trying to convince them that they need a little more thought and planning for a trip WDW. and from what I've read on the boards about spring break, I think they'd be better off going over the 4th of July!
I hope that help answer your question...the main thing is that if you don't like what the CM is telling you make some excuse like you have to talk it over with the SO and call back and hope you get Cissy or Cecelia!
Tina26
03-24-2002, 05:37 PM
LAinSea,
How did you get the membership for only $29 instead of $39.95? Also, what are the flyers that you get in the mail like, are they like a monthly magazine? Thanks!!
Tina:)

Tina26:
we got the 29.00 price through our old corporate magic kingdom club membership...my parents and sister got the 29.00 price because of an email I received from DC and forwarded to them. I've also seen codes for that price on mousesavers.com.
if your employer used to offer the magic kingdom club, then they probably have info on the DC for 29.00 also.
The Disney magazine we get 9 or 10 times a year (I think - it's not quite monthy). we really enjoy it. we get flyers about new DC benefits every 6 weeks or so. we've also gotten postcards for movie tickets but no postcards yet for WDW resort discounts.
I think the club is worth the money - I saved enough shopping at the disney store over Christmas to say it paid for itself and really saved us money on our upcoming trip in May!

Do you get discounts with the DC card on top of the other discounts available to the public or can you only either get the DC discount or the code rates? If you get a discount on top of the codes that is great!
kimmar067

Kimmer067,
How did you get the teacher rate of $29, can I get it online or do I need to call?
Tramp'sLady

I got the $29 rate just for renewing my membership this year AND I got the same rate as a gift for a friend! It would be nice if they did that every year!

Meanwhile, a "little bird" is telling me that a new WDW resort discount code, available to anyone, for "room only" bookings 6/23/02-8/24/02, will be coming out next Sunday, 4/7/02. Keep your fingers crossed and watch your Sunday newspaper's travel section! If I am well enough, I will get that information posted on MouseSavers when it becomes available.
HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOU. IT DOES NOT HELP FOR FALL
HOWEVER.
p.s. Mousesavers updates may be delayed as she is having
surgery, keep her in your prayers.

Where is it that you login to bring up the discounts? We booked through a travel agent and I am not very happy with her. I might cancel and try to book on my own when the new codes come up for anybody because I am not part of any discount club. Someone posted that they will be up on Sunday. Any one with information that could help? Thanks

There is a new code out today called Summer Saver. My agent at Magical Journeys actually told me about it last night. She saved me $140 more on my Wilderness Lodge reservation for August! I was booked at the AP rate, which I thought was great. The code is for anyone.
You can read more about it at:
