Transfer prices??????

I am just curious what it costs for transfers. We took Disney air and transfers and it seems like we could have gotten a better deal if we did it all separately.It's too late now but was just wondering. I now the flight itself is at least $200 PP but I know I could have saved on the transfers. What do most people pay for transfers from the airport to the port.?

If you book air through DCL, the transfers are included at no extra charge. If you do not book air through DCL and purchase the transfers separately, airport-port-airport transfers are $46 per person. :)

I guess you live and learn!!!! If I had been on these boards and researched everything better b/f I booked my cruise,I would have saved some money but I didn't. I went through a local TA and she recommended Disney air(more money for her).Oh well, next time I'll know!!!How many people actually use Disney Air/transfer???

Are you sure you can't cancel the air portion of your cruise? I was under the impression that unless you are less than 60 days from your cruise date you could make changes with no charge. It wouldn't hurt to call and find out-all they can tell you is NO. I would call DCL to check before calling your TA though-they may try to talk you out of cancelling if it takes money out of their pocket. We booked our air on Southwest since they have the free companion offer going until August.

I would think you could definitely make changes. We originally had our ground transfers through Disney (although we got the airfare on our own for 1/3 the price) and later decided to change that once we started checking out other options. A lot of people here like to use those town car services. I personally opted for a rent-a-car. It ended up actually being a little more than all the Disney transfers, but we'll have a LOT more mobility and freedom that way.
