Paying for package w/ Disney gift card?

Can I use a Disney gift card to pay for the balance of my package? Dds' school has just instituted a mandatory script gift certificate purchase for the year, and Disney gift cards are one of the options available. If I paid off this package, it would eat a HUGE chunk of my required spending for the year.

You can use Disney giftcards to pay on your balance (or pay it off I believe). I'm not sure of the refund policy on them however. Hoping someone who knows will chime in because I have a couple hundred $$ in giftcards that I want to use as long as I wouldn't lose them if we had to cancel for some reason.

refund policy = just keep the cards after you use them. If they have to refund they refund right back to card and amount you had.

I used mine over the phone, and they told me to save the cards even though they have no value left on them... in case I needed a refund, later. :wizard:

Well, I guess we will do that then. Our school has these SCRIPT cards also.

Just a fyi...you can use the GCs if you booked through AAA as well. I just called my TA & she wrote down the info & when she called Disney they applied it to my AAA package.

For another trip I was able to use the GCs on the Disney site (not booked w/AAA) as well. I didn't need to call, there is a section you can use GCs for payment!
