just the article from the Orlando Paper in early March. It was pretty thorough, however.

There is some concept art posted on the resorts board.
Take a look at this thread:

I hear all the trees on Eagle Pines golf course have been removed. I haven't driven by yet to confirm.

Any rumors on the exact location of the resort? There are some rumors which indicate that the hotel will be built on the eastern shore of Bay Lake.

That's exactly where it will be built.. sort of opposite WL .. up by where Eagle Pines was.

I knew it was going in where the Eagle Pines/Osprey Ridge golf courses are located but guess I missed the fact that the hotel was going to be built on the shores of Bay Lake. I guess Four Seasons wants to have water taxi service to the MK.

I got this wrong - way wrong.. yes there will be water taxi service to MK, but not from the shores of Bay Lake and the water in the artists rendering is NOT Bay Lake as I had incorrectly assumed.
Allow me to try and explain..
If you look at the clubhouse on a map, and draw a line due north, Eagle Pines is to the right, and Osprey Ridge is to the left. Eagle Pines is the course that has been leveled to make room for the resort, Osprey Ridge will remain as this new resorts private course.
Rumor has it that the canal that runs along Osprey #18 will be widened to accommodate boats to take guests to the MK via Bay Lake. ( I guessed that boat service to MK part correctly in a previous Four Seasons thread .. I just incorrectly judged the location of the launch)
Now, I would assume Eagle Pines #18, which is currently between the two lakes sort of, will be taken out thus combining two small lakes to make one large lake thus the lake view of the resort in the artist rendering that's floating around. This is .. just an assumption based on the other info.
It has also been suggested that the hotel / resort would be located where Eagle Pines #17 hole was last located... which is NOT on the shore of Bay Lake... but would be on the edge of the twoexisting lakes, if they were combined.
My corrected info comes from a contact with good connections to the construction company managing this project.
I think I got it right this time.

Funny, when I first saw this post the other day I immediately went to google maps and look and thought it would be great if they could use that canal. I think it also went down to Downtown Disney

It is an actual creek....."Bonnet Creek" but there are several levy's or water control gates that would prevent boats from using the canal. Most notably the one near beginning of Vacation Club Drive and Bonnet Creek Parkway.
