Free Dining...

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know if they're offering the free dining in August for the campsites, or are we left out in the cold again this year?

Unfortunately, they don't offer free dining to campers, only to cabin guests. Bummer, I know, but that's the breaks.

hit the camping at disney world at the top of this page and at the top of that page in red letters it says free dining, hit that.

Am I reading it right? You have to be a DVC member to get free dining at the campsites??

Free Dining is NOT available at the campsites - only in the cabins. This is because up to 10 people are allowed on a campsite, so Disney would be losing way too much money feeding them all for free! :)

Not for campsites but I just received an email from Disney Rewards today. They are doing a Free Disney Dining special if you use your Disney VISA at a Value for stays most nights 8/24 - 9/20/2008.

5 Nights/6 Days at a Disney Value Resort: $57 per person, per day, based on 2 adults, 1 junior, and 1 child in a standard room.

This 5 night, 6 day Magic Your Way Package includes Walt Disney World® Resort hotel accommodations, Walt Disney World® Theme Park tickets and the Disney Dining Plan which provides one quick service meal, a select snack and one meal at a table service restaurant per person, per night of your package. Excludes gratuities and alcoholic beverages. Children ages 3-9 must choose from children's menu, if available. Choose from over 100 select Disney restaurants, including Disney character dining. Take advantage of this offer before it becomes available to the general public on April 10, 2008.

Important Details: Tickets are for one Theme Park per day and must be used within 14 days of first use. No group rates or other discounts. For reservations made between April 7 and April 9, 2008 only, deposit must
be made at the time of booking using your Disney Rewards Visa Card.
