Do you have to buy more than a 1 day ticket this year for free dining?

Hi,
noticed the info for free dining.....said something like a sample 5 night package has a 6 day park admission.

Is this new....Can you still buy a 1 day and get the free dining?

you only need to book a 1 day base ticket minimum for free dining...I just booked my free dining reservation and didn't need tickets, so I only got 1 day base tickets which we'll use on another trip.

some people have annual passes so they don't need tickets. I have 5 day hopper passes left over from a previous trip so I only booked one day base tickets to get in on the free dining package.
